BUSINESS BOOTCAMP l MODULE 1Soulful Business

VITA Coaching Business Bootcamp, Module 1Soulful Business2Soulful BusinessYour business is unique! The size of your business, the audience you reach, the flavors you choose to represent yourbrand, and the strategies you use to do business will be totally unique to you.If you try and fit yourself into a box that’s not you, you’ll be miserable. Find a way to dobusiness that suits you! There’s no right or wrong way to do it.That being said, there are some ways in which you don’t need to reinvent the wheel. If yousee everyone doing something the same way, especially in terms of business structure, there’s probably a reason. The reason is that it works. So you don’t need to be completelyunique. You will, however, be able to infuse your flavors into everything you do. Let yourself beunique in how you do business, and choose what feels good and in alignment for you. Howyou run your business should be in line with who you want to magnetize.Online BusinessAdvantages of an Online BusinessThis Business Bootcamp is primarily a course in online business, because that’s the best thingfor most people to be the most successful in reaching their audience and making money. There are a few reasons for that: An online business allows you to leverage your time. You can put in the time to set up avlog or a course and then you’re done with the set-up. It’s an effective and deeply rewarding way to reach a really wide audience. One video on Youtube can reach hundreds of thousands of people! It’s really customizable. You can create an online business that works for you.You can make a lot of money and have a huge client base. Look at any of the reallysuccessful women who have come out of this program!Copyright 2020, Truth and Love Coaching, LLC - All Rights Reserved.

VITA Coaching Business Bootcamp, Module 1Soulful Business3Disadvantages of an Online BusinessHowever, if online is not your jam, you don’t have to do it this way. Running an online business can be very overwhelming, especially if you don’t have all ofyour systems set up and automated yet. That wide audience can become a lot for oneperson to handle.Teaching in-person is so beautiful and so nourishing! There’s a sense of connection in livecoaching that doesn’t always happen with online coaching. There are other modules thataddress in-person coaching more specifically.Other Forms of CoachingSo much of what is taught in this course about online coaching is totally applicable to otherforms of coaching. You can apply it to one-on-one coaching and live retreats, as well.I recommend that you start with one-on-one coaching, even if it doesn’t feel quite inalignment for you long-term vision, and then you can move into other things. It’s important tounderstand the journey of one person before you can try to understand the journeys of abunch of people. What do you want to deliver? You’ll need to choose what kinds of products and programs that you want to deliver. My recommendation is that you start out with high-end one-on-one coaching, and there are afew reasons for that: You’ll get to learn the worth of money. Charging more in a high-end setting will improveyour mindset around money. It will give you a sense of what your work is worth. It’s the simplest business model. That also makes it very easy to tweak to be a better fitfor your market. For example, an online course can be really time-consuming and complicated to tweak onceyou’ve posted it. But with high-end coaching packages, you can try one system and easilyadjust if it doesn’t work.Copyright 2020, Truth and Love Coaching, LLC - All Rights Reserved.

VITA Coaching Business Bootcamp, Module 1Soulful Business4Coaching PackagesHigh-end coaching is the idea that your clients are working with you longterm, maybe aboutonce a month- not just doing one session a week. For this style of coaching I recommendcharging between 150 and 1000 per hour. Then there’s what I call everyday coaching. This is lower-cost and more people can do it.These are your clients who see you every week. For this kind of coaching, I recommend thatyou charge between 100 and 250 per week.Don’t sell single sessions! Sell packages.Finding your NicheWhat’s a niche?Your niche is your specific area. It applies to the problem you specifically solve. In my experience, ninety-nine percent of people need a niche. You might be able to findsuccess without one, but generally what you have to offer doesn’t apply to absolutelyeverybody. Choosing a niche will give you clarity about who you’re speaking to and whatyou’re creating. My niche journey:Choosing a niche might feel painful at first because in a way, you’re acknowledging that youcan’t serve the whole world. When it came time for me to choose a niche, I felt as though Iwas narrowing the number of people that I could reach with my work. But when I thought about trying to reach everyone and creating something that could applyto everybody, I felt such confusion. There is no one course or Youtube channel that canspeak to everyone the same way.So I had to choose my niche: I am going to show women how to have a better orgasm. Icreated my first course, Obliss. My high-end coaching packages focused on women’s sexualenergy and their orgasmic experience. I got a very specific idea of who I was speaking to andwhat problem I was going to solve.Copyright 2020, Truth and Love Coaching, LLC - All Rights Reserved.

VITA Coaching Business Bootcamp, Module 1Soulful Business5When I chose that niche and my audience, I easily sold high-end coaching packages, becauseI was attracting the kind of women who valued what I had to offer.Choosing a niche gives you clarity.Choosing a niche doesn’t cut you off from everyone; it shows you how to channel yourtalents and energy into people who want what you have. It gives you clarity. Your nichehelps your clients know that they can come to you to get their problems solved.Choosing a niche frees you.A niche doesn’t need to be a cage! Your niche gives you structure and a container. It givesyou a clear idea of who your work applies to, so you can free yourself from the idea that youcan save everyone. You can outgrow your niche. After Obliss became successful and I felt like I had tapped out in that arena, I opened a newcourse - Jade Pleasure. I reached even more women. Then when I felt ready to outgrow myniche again, I started Epic Lovers and started my work with couples. It’s totally possible to find success in your niche and reach a point where you aren’t growingand being challenged anymore. If that happens, expand your niche! Let yourself grow.Understanding Your BrandYour brand helps you create content, write copy, and take photos. It is the essence of whoyou are and what you have to offer the world. Your brand is a combination of your chosenniche plus two or three other flavors that are a part of who you are.My personal flavors are: deep, playful, and fully alive. I ask myself in everything I put out formy business, “Am I communicating depth, playfulness, and aliveness?”My brand is Epic Sex and Legendary Love, and I carry out that brand in a deep, playful, andalive way.Copyright 2020, Truth and Love Coaching, LLC - All Rights Reserved.

VITA Coaching Business Bootcamp, Module 1Soulful Business6Your brand shows you how to maintain consistency in the way you run your business and thecontent you deliver. My own life: Flavors and personalityDepth, playfulness, aliveness are core facets of my brand and my personality. Knowing thesethings and having them as reference for my work helps me know how to carry out my brandin business. For example, when I write a post, I don’t want to do it in a way that is shallow, serious, and boring. I want to write it in a way that communicates depth, playfulness, andaliveness!Your brand is the core personality of your work. You have to ask yourself, “How do I want people to feel if they successfully complete mywork?”I personally want people to feel deep, playful, and alive. Those are core elements of me andmy personality, that I want you to experience through the work that I do.A Few RemindersYour family and friends can help you pick your flavors because they might see things in youand your personality that you don’t. That can feel really vulnerable, when someone seessomething in you that you don’t always see in yourself.Your niche and flavors should be things other people want. Don’t pick something so outthere that you won’t be able to find clients or people to buy into your work. That being said, sometimes the things that feel the most fringe are the things others want the most becauseno one else has done it before. Find that balance! There has to be a deep alignment for you - don’t just pick something you think other peoplewant. Your brand will magnetize the people that you want to work with, people who youhave the right medicine for, so pick a brand that suits you and who you want to attract.Copyright 2020, Truth and Love Coaching, LLC - All Rights Reserved.

VITA Coaching Business Bootcamp, Module 1Soulful Business7Deva for Your BusinessWhat is Deva?Deva is a concept for meditation that I learned from Hiro Boga. Basically, the Deva is the soulor energy of your work. Your business has a Deva, your brand has a Deva, your coachingprogram and your products have a Deva. You can have separate Devas for separate things.Deva MeditationIn the Deva meditation, you’ll be guided to contact the energy of your brand business andyour coaching programs products. You’ll get to see energetically the soul of those aspectsand communicate with it.Think of the Deva as your transmission and the energy that flows through your work.Experiencing the Deva of your work can be really humbling because there is just so muchthat your Deva has to show you. Your Deva can show you what colors to use in yourbranding, how big your target audience should be - even how much to charge for your work!Meditating with your Deva can set you straight on things in your business again. Whenthings seem unclear or muddled or confusing, you can meditate with your business Deva, andit can give you clarity about your next steps.Deva TroubleshootingDo your Deva meditations before you move onto Andrew’s section of the business bootcamp. You won’t always have an immediate connection with your Deva. There are a lot of thingsthat might keep you from feeling super connected to your Deva, for example, a reluctance tobe honest about your niche. So it might take time to build your relationship with your Deva. You might need to do theDeva meditation more than once to get clarity and closeness in that relationship. Rememberto be open to what your Deva has to say to you!Copyright 2020, Truth and Love Coaching, LLC - All Rights Reserved.

VITA Coaching Business Bootcamp, Module 1Soulful Business8Final ThoughtsSuccess in business is equal parts listening to your energy and taking action. Remember thatenergy and action support one another. Action without guidance from your energetic feelingswill feel robotic, and only energy without action won’t build your business. Use energy andaction together for the most success.Copyright 2020, Truth and Love Coaching, LLC - All Rights Reserved.
