Important Notices Information submitted to register as a paid petition circulator becomes public record, subject to any applicableexemptions under Florida law. The Paid Petition Circulator online application is solely for the purpose of applying to register as a paid petitioncirculator prior to gathering petitions for one or more assigned initiative petitions. It is the circulator’sresponsibility to make arrangements or to determine if he or she will be paid to gather petitions on behalf of thesponsoring political committee(s) prior to registering with the Department. Registration to circulate petitions as a paid petition circulator is different from registration to collect voterregistration applications as a third-party voter registration organization (3PVRO). Register as a Paid Petition Circulator1. To register with the Division of Elections as a paid petition circulator, begin by clicking on “OnlineApplication” from the homepage.Division of ElectionsPetition Circulator User Guide (Updated 11/2019)Page 11 of 23

2. Follow the prompts on the screen to enter you email address and create a password. When you click“Register”, you will be sent an email to the address you provided. 3. Click on the link in the email that was sent to you to confirm your email address. If the link has expired, youwill be given the opportunity to generate another confirmation email.4. When you confirm your email address, you will see the page below. 5. Complete the registration page. You will need to provide your name, date of birth, phone number, andpermanent address. In addition, if your permanent address is not a Florida address, you will need to provide aseparate Florida address at which you will accept service of process. For each address, make sure to provide acomplete address including an apartment or unit number, if applicable. 6. Once you submit your application, the application will be reviewed by the Division of Elections. If yourapplication is approved, you will receive an email confirmation and will be able to log into the site. Followdirections to take you to the page to log in. If you notice that you have an error in your application as approved,please contact the Division of Elections immediately.7. If there are problems with your application, you will receive an email notifying you the application has beendenied and the reason why. You can reapply by going to the homepage and clicking on “Log in”. Enter youremail address and password. Manage Account Once Registered as a Paid Petition CirculatorOnce you have been approved as a paid petition circulator, you can log into your registration account. Withinthe account, you will be able to select one or more initiative petitions for which you can generate petitionforms containing your unique paid petition circulator information.Log In1. To Add and View Selected Initiative Petition(s)1. You will see a listing of currently active initiative petitions. Click on “Add” next to the name of an initiative toindicate you are or will be collecting petition signatures for that initiative.
