I alsoreceived suggestions from zeit23geist,who is perhaps the most well knowninternet writer with a focus primarilyon Satanic healing in recent years, whoedited this book and provided thereview on the back cover.9
The Little Book of Satanic HealingIntroduction to SetimWhen Patrick Zeigler, the creator ofSeichim, first heard the word Seichimfrom a spirit channeled through afriend, he heard it as 'Setim'; that is, animmanation of Set or Satan, a flowingof Satan into him. He had experiencedan initiation into Seichim when hesneaked into the Great Pyramid ofGaza, near Sakara, Egypt, at night,where he perhaps should not havebeen, to discover a gate had been leftopen for him, and gone into completeblackness. He lay in a tomb of thedead, and wrapped himself like oneembalmed. He saw the infinity symbolcoming towards him, the base for oneform of the alchemical symbol forbrimstone- a Satanic symbol. Itempowered him with the ability totransmit a new healing energy.10
The Little Book of Satanic HealingSeichim is considered to be from thestar Sirius or Sopdet, which can be seenfrom within the Great Pyramid, and hasbeen equated with Set and Satan andbringing his energies into this world.Sekhem, another word used by NewAgers for Seichim, is magical power,which Set employs, and also is thepower of the dead who dwell inSekhem, a fiery part of the Egyptianafterlife, a familiar-sounding place.Some practitioners consider Seichim tohave a relationship with Sekhmet.These lightworker practitioners feelsafe with Sekhmet, although theywouldn't knowingly have anything todo with Satan. However, Sekhmet is afierce goddess of destruction, plagueand war, who some say is the femaleaspect of Satan.11

Sekhmet issometimes invoked by Satanists.Anton LaVey calls upon Sekhmet in acursing ritual in his book The SatanicBible. She can cause illness, but alsoward off or cure it. This book dealswith the healing use of Setim, if you areinterested in Sekhmet and magickalwork with her I would recommend thePapyri Graecae Magicae. If you areinterested in using the power of Setimto curse, you are welcome toexperiment. I'm not intrinsically anticursing, I'm not covering it here purelyfor the reason that it is not the subjectof the current work.12

Theyare frequently the mentally ill,substance abusers, or those unable toform relationships, saying these thingsto make themselves feel morepowerful. At some times in our liveswe are all weak or ill, it's the nature ofmortality.13

A person to whomyou feel you are supposed to giveSatanic healing may well be destined tobe a Satanist of some kind.14

Results in the realworld may happen quickly afterworking on an issue with Setim.The Bible and fundamentalistChristians say that the healing of Satanis false and intended to lead peopleastray; but they would say that,wouldn't they? The bible has much totell us about Satan, (for instance, thathe has healing powers) but whenreading it to learn about Him, what itsays should always be read from theperspective that it is written by thosewho are against him, as they wantpeople to serve Yahweh. TheisticSatanists have more than a kinship withall other religions, and most Christiandenominations.15

A similarity can also beseen between Theistic Satanism andIslam in one respect, although ofcourse not in other ways. They believein the Will of God, determinism, whichI have some sympathy for, as it's clearwith the misfortunes people suffer,such as most illnesses, that humansaren't entirely in control. However Iappreciate most Satanists insteademphasize the power of free will. Ofcourse as well as petitioning Satan, weall have to do what we can in the realworld to help or heal ourselves,including using healing techniques if wefind them helpful.16

However, He expects andhonours the fact that much of theuniverse such as each living being hasits own ideas, agenda and plans. Hedetermines a lot of the events thanhappen, or can help us overcome ordeal with them. By overcomingobstacles, we develop. Setim works tochange our state of health andhappiness, and sometimes change ispainful.If people experience extra symptomsafter a healing or attunement, somenew age practitioners believe it's a'healing crisis,' which they deal withusing more alternative therapies.17
The Little Book of Satanic HealingI don't believe in 'healing crises' exceptinsomuch as attunement and healingleads to more awareness of problemswhich may need attention, or renewedattention, from a doctor, though othertherapies can be used alongside medicaltreatment if you wish.Better safe than sorry. Some peoplehave become more ill by failing toconsult a doctor at the right time, dueto being told they were experiencing ahealing crisis and needed only time andalternative therapies to overcome it.Follow medical and governmentalrecommendations.18
The Little Book of Satanic HealingAnother common sense aid to healingpractices is to retain normality in yourlife. A lot of people fall into fad dietsnow and again, but try to maintain anormal diet and not cut out foods.A woman needs around 2000 calories aday, and a man 2500. If you areoverweight or underweight, remove oradd calories until you reach a healthyweight, following a sensible diet. As aguideline, 500 less calories a day willlead to a loss of 1lb a week, and morecan be lost be increasing your amountof exercise.Try to socialize regularly, in ordinaryvenues such as a pub, coffee shop orclub. Do some exercise (eating enoughto stay healthy while exercising ofcourse, and exercising in accordancewith what your doctor recommends.)19
The Little Book of Satanic HealingA balanced diet, including enoughfluids, socializing, and doing what wecan using everyday and evidence-basedscientific methods to maintain orimprove our health and fitness is whathelps us stay grounded and notdisappear up our own spiritual centre(to use a euphemism). It stops usdeveloping more psychosomaticdisorders, 'allergies' not confirmed by amedical practitioner, obsessions, andnegative beliefs. Increase your healingwith evidence-based healthy lifestylechanges, such as drinking less, givingup smoking and recreational drugs.Personally I enjoy staying in touch withwhat's on television, celebrity gossipand trends. This helps me staygrounded and in touch with whatpeople in the real world are doing,enhancing my enjoyment of life.20

I don'twatch everything though, it shouldn'tbe a chore, and we don't all have thesame tastes.There's no need to take on negativeenergies from clients, and if you findyourself feeling this is happening,ground yourself with diet and exercise,self-treatment and everyday activities.If it's very uncomfortable, check withyour doctor that your symptoms don'thave another cause. If it happensrepeatedly, ask yourself why you needthese symptoms.21
The Little Book of Satanic HealingFor Theistic Satanists and OthersOne of the possible differences inapproach between theistic Satanists andnew age practitioners who practiceSeichim is that we are theists and askfor the aid of a personal (i.e. having hisown personality and selfhood) god,Satan. New Agers may sometimes callon gods, but their techniques usuallytend to focus on seeking to developtheir own powers, or consideringthemselves to be part of god. Theydon’t tend to pray in the same way,although they may ask things of godsor spirits. It could almost be said thatthey are Left Hand Path, going by onedefinition of it, in the sense of beingfocused on self-development ratherthan god.22
The Little Book of Satanic HealingTheistic Satanist beliefs about healingare based on the will of Satan and onhis spark within us, althoughdeveloping one’s magickal and healingpowers is valued too.Setim allows you to work with Satanand develop a close relationship withhim. If you are a Satanist, he is thesource of the world as we see it and ofthe future. Setim can also workthrough the Black Flame, your owncreative essence and connection toSatan, enlivening that spark of Satanwithin you. It’s very freeing andencourages creativity.You needn't be a Satanist to use theSetim symbols or experiment with theenergies. But you may have moresuccess if you've already done adedication rite.23

The Little Book of Satanic HealingSpirits such as vodka, a third theamount of the final concoction, mustbe added to preserve it.If you’re unable to take even a smallamount of any of the ingredients forgenuine medical reasons, such as adiagnosed allergy, medicallyrecommended diet or a medicationwhich interacts with one of theingredients, remove the ingredient youcannot use and alter the recipeaccording to your intuition. If indoubt, leave an ingredient out. Asimpler version can be made with justthe energy drink, wine, asafoetida,flour, cough mixture, and alcohol.25
The Little Book of Satanic HealingYou may puree the solid ingredients(do the solid ones first, with a little ofthe liquid, then add the rest of theliquid and add the flour), or boil thesolid ingredients in a little water andstrain out the water, adding it to thewine, or simply cut the ingredientsfinely and add them to the bottle. Thealcohol will preserve it for a while, butkeep it refrigerated. Take a smallamount such as a teaspoon when youfeel guided to do so. It's probably notthe most delicious drink, but containspower. You can also try anointing yourfeet or hands with the mixture.26

The Little Book of Satanic HealingBefore and after attunementsAttunements are rituals or prayers tostrengthen your healing powers andconnection to Satan. There are somesuggestions in this book, but you mayfeel guided to adapt them or performyour own.Eat a diet with more pleasurable anddecadent foods (whilst following yourdoctor's advice) such as meat, alcohol,caffeine, cake or sweets, for a weekbefore the attunement. This will helpyou adjust to the energies of theattunement, as nothing is a sin to Satan.29
The Little Book of Satanic HealingAfter the attunement, whenever youfeel the urge to pray in the weeks tocome, pray to Satan, or say "HailSatan". This will help you develop yourrelationship with him. There will be aweek of intensive change to yourspiritual energies. You may get physicaland spiritual reactions and tingling andsensations of being "freed up"physically, spiritually andpsychologically. Treat yourself withSetim, and as part of your usual diet,drink a little red wine or caffeine, or eatred meat in moderation and accordancewith medical advice. Listen to thesignals from your body and from Satan.If anything causes you unduediscomfort or concern, consult amedical doctor in case you havebecome aware of something that wouldbenefit from treatment.30

You may feelthat you can combine some of theminto one, or need to separate parts ofsome. Other than that, leave as long asseems right, until you are given thefeeling that you are ready for your nextattunement.31
The Little Book of Satanic HealingAn attunement to Satan and thedemonsIf you feel guided to work with them,the demonic guides or guardiandemons may guide you through life'stests and awaken your mind to Satan.Demons have their own missions butmay also help you develop your BlackFlame, developing your intuition, andgiving you guidance. They will make iteasier for Satan to flow through you, aswell as helping you on this earthlyplane. However you may prefer towork solely with Satan himself. Inwhich case you can adapt the ritualbelow to refer only to Satan.32

Please allowmy guardian demons and demonicguides to come to me and connect withme, and please come to me andconnect with me yourself. " Ask Satanto enfold you. Feel the different energyaround you. Look with your innereyes. Contemplate what you know ofthe character of Satan and the demons.Ask for His advice and aid, (if youwish, you can also ask for the aid of thedemons) including asking for healingand development for yourself and yourlife, or making requests for your lovedones. You may perceive many things.It is up to Satan and the demons if theychoose to answer our requests andcome when we ask or do otherwise, asthey see fit.33
