8th Grade Summer Reading Assignment(To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee andThe Giver by Lois Lowry)This year students will be responsible for reading two books along with the following assignments.Both assignments will be due by September 1st. This will be before the first day of school. Eachassignment will be submitted on Schoology. Each book assignment will be counted as a test grade forthe first marking period. Please submit the assignment as either a word document (.doc) file or as arich text format (.rtf) file I cannot open pages. In addition, students should be prepared for acomprehension test on each book and be prepared to discuss each book together when we return toschool. Students may submit the assignments separately.
