They always need volunteers, and weencourage you to offer your services to them. I don’t know theprotocol for working in the booths, but they will keep yousafe. Please check with Arin Commens or the school office tovolunteer. The Booster Club will also be using the St. Bonifaceparking lot to park cars again this year. If you are interested inhelping, contact Randy Dickerson or Caleb Wathen for details. After a year of waiting, we will kick-off the Fall Festival onSunday, October 3rd and end Saturday evening, October 9th.The Saturday evening Mass on October 9th will be held at St.Agnes Church at 4:30pm.As I write this, we just finished our second funeral for theweek. This makes 8 funerals in the past 12 days, and twodeceased parishioners had private services. I especially thankthe bereavement ministry and staff for providing worshipaids, servers, meals, and prayer services. I thank the manypeople within the parish who helped minister to the familiesduring these difficult times. This is very important for ourparish to help our families during their grieving process. Yourservice goes a long way when these families need help or justsomeone to listen. I thank you.Next week we will have our priest’s convocation at NewHarmony beginning on Monday, October 11 th and ending onThursday, October 14th. We will have communion servicesinstead of Masses during this time. The Deacons will lead theservices in the morning. We will resume the Masses on Friday,October 15th. I ask that you pray for our diocesan priestsduring the convocation.I appreciate your involvement with the Catholic ParishesCampaign. We are over 70% of our pledge goal from 40% ofour membership. I truly appreciate your generosity andreturning your cards. I only ask that you give what you canand return your card. Some people have not received a cardfrom us. I don’t know how this happened, but if you did notreceive a card a few weeks ago, please call the office. I wanteveryone to be involved. With other parish fundraiserscoming up soon, I am debating when to send the second letter.I want to see cards returning each week. Hopefully, we willcontinue to receive CPC cards to increase our participationand reach our goal. Thanks for your generosity and yourparticipation.See you at the Fall Festival,
