creatingspace2016AnnualReport

DEAR FRIENDS,If you’ve visited our Fort Worth campus lately, you’ve probably noticed some changes. From turning offices into shared workrooms to cleaning out our file cabinets to gopaperless, we’re on a mission to create space. More space will make us more efficient, make collaboration easier, and ultimately help us end poverty.Padua Pilot:Year OneOne of the ways we create space for our clients isby creating space for ourselves.Space to think outside the box.Space to learn. However, it takes more than literal space to end poverty. We also need to make space tocreate, space to breath, space to dream, and space to see future possibilities.Space to develop a deeper understanding. We need space to end poverty. This is an idea that we have been visiting and revisiting at CCFW. You see, we’ve been dreaming for a long timenow about ending poverty in our community. But for many of our clients, an end to poverty is something theyhave never had the capacity to dream about. We are determined to empower them to make more space in theirlives to permanently move out of poverty. When a client walks in and sits down with a Hope Center Specialist,we want relaxation to set in from their shoulders all the way down to their toes, as they finally have the space tobreathe and the space to see a future that isn’t rooted in poverty.I am so proud and thankful to be a part of CCFW. Not only is our agency made up of passionate, dedicated anddetermined employees, but amazing supporters like you, who are the key to aggressively attacking barriers sopeople have the space to reach their dreams. It is only with your help that we will end poverty.Sincerely,Heather Reynolds, President and CEOOur Reseach and Innovation Team has been collecting information from the Padua Pilotsince its March 2015 launch.
