Song of PraiseO Breath of LifeChalice Hymnal #250O Breath of Life, come sweeping through us, revive your church with life and power.O Breath of Life, come, cleanse, renew us, And fit your church to meet this hour.O Wind of God, come bend us, break us, till humbly we confess our need. Then in your tenderness remake us, revive, restore, for this we plead.O Breath of Love, come breathe within us, renewing thought and will and heart.Come, love of Christ, afresh to win us, revive your church in every part. InvocationElizabeth Larson A Version of the Lord’s Prayer (Please pray the version in your heart)Our Creator, who is in heaven, holy is your name.Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.Give us this day our daily bread, And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors,And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil,For yours is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory forever. Amen. Musical ResponseSweet, Sweet SpiritCH #261There’s a sweet, sweet Spirit in this place, and I know that it’s the Spirit of the Lord;there are sweet expressions on each face, and I know they feel the presence of the Lord.Sweet Holy Spirit, sweet heavenly Dove, stay right here with us filling us with your love;and for these blessings we lift our hearts in praise; without a doubt we’ll knowthat we have been revived when we shall leave this place.

Shall I come before him with burnt offerings, with calves a year old? Willthe Lord be pleased with thousands of rams, with ten thousands of rivers of oil? Shall Igive my firstborn for my transgression, the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul?” Hehas told you, O mortal, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to dojustice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?Hymn SingScriptureElizabeth LarsonMatthew 25:31-40“When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angelswith him, then he will sit on the throne of his glory. All the nations will be gatheredbefore him, and he will separate people one from another as a shepherd separates thesheep from the goats, and he will put the sheep at his right hand and the goats at theleft. Then the king will say to those at his right hand, ‘Come, you that are blessed by myFather, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world; for Iwas hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, Iwas a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you gave me clothing, I was sickand you took care of me, I was in prison and you visited me.’ Then the righteous willanswer him, ‘Lord, when was it that we saw you hungry and gave you food, or thirstyand gave you something to drink? And when was it that we saw you a stranger andwelcomed you, or naked and gave you clothing? And when was it that we saw you sickor in prison and visited you?’ And the king will answer them, ‘Truly I tell you, just as youdid it to one of the least of these who are members of my family, you did it to me.’
