PHOTOGRAPHYState Fair 4-H photography exhibit guidelines will be posted at http://4h.missouri.edu/statefair/mainPhotos must be mounted on an 8 x10 solid mounting surface.The mounting surface should be mat board, in a color of the photographers choicePhotographs must be 8 X 10 or smaller, with no more than 4 photos per mat board“Solid” requires that there are no cut outs or other holes in the mat board, either around or behind thephoto. Mount photos on the smoothest side of the mat board. “Mat board” is a specific material. It is not cardboard, foam core, or poster board etc. Mount photos on the smoothest side of the mat board, using only adhesives designed forpermanent mounting of photographs. To protect exhibits from dust and moisture, photos should be placed in a 81/4 x10 1/2 plastic bag No captions, titles, or writing on the mat board. The picture should tell the story.
