The Nauset Summer ReadingProgram has been developed in conjunction with the town public libraries to focus ondeveloping a love of literacy in students. The books you see listed in this Summer Reading Guideare suggestions for your child. All of these titles have been carefully chosen and are known to beworthy of your time. Any book that students read during the vacation, whether it is from our listor recommended by a friend or a relative, is a new adventure and strengthens your readingabilities.Our summer reading theme for 2017 is “Build a Better World.” The goal is to provide books thatshow students how they can make a better world in their own lives whether it involves creatinga Lego building with a friend, designing a garden with their a family member, or being a kind tosomeone. The possibilities are endless!Librarians have collaborated to ensure that the books listed in our guide are available to you atseveral of the local libraries in the CLAMS network. You are encouraged to visit your town libraryoften during the summer months. Besides checking out books, you can also check their scheduleand attend the fun activities planned for children of all ages.
