2020 SEC Football2020 SEC FOOTBALL MEDIA SERVICES2020 SEC FOOTBALL MEDIA INFORMATIONThe Southeastern Conference has established a number of game operations guidelines, including media operations, for its 14 member schools for the 2020 football season, as theConference continues to monitor developments around the COVID-19 virus.Essential On-Field PersonnelEssential personnel shall be the only individuals who have game day access to field and sideline, to include student-athletes, coaches and support personnel, game officials, medical personnel, limited institutional personnel, law enforcement, a limited number of photographersand contracted radio/TV personnel, and other limited personnel essential to the execution ofthe game.SEC Digital License: Per the SEC Media Access Guidelines, game footage (pool feed or broadcast) may not be distributed through digital platforms without a license. The SEC and XOSDigital offer a digital highlight license specifically designed for local TV affiliates. This licensewill cover the use of SEC game footage across official station websites, apps, and social mediaplatforms. Distribution of in-game highlights on any platform during the broadcast window isstrictly prohibited, regardless of a digital license. Interested affiliates should emaillicensing@xosdigital.com to receive more information or to acquire a digital license.CollegePressBoxMedia are encouraged to utilize www.collegepressbox.com to access and download weeklygame notes, quotes, statistics, media guides, headshots, logos and more for each conferenceand its member schools. Register for access at collegepressbox.com/register.Additional Media GuidelinesPress BoxPress box seating capacity shall be no more than 50% of current seating availability in thepress box, and all individuals in the press box shall wear a face covering. If required by national,state and/or local guidelines, the press box seating capacity shall be less than 50% of the current seating available in accordance with the national, state and/or local guidelines.Photographers/VideographersAll distribution of media credentials and areas of access will be at the discretion of the homeinstitution within the following guidelines: Up to two (2) non-institutional media photographers/videographers may be permitted onthe field/sideline at the discretion of the home institution. These individuals must participatein required COVID screening consistent with institutional personnel permitted on the field. Additional non-institutional media photographers/videographers may be permitted toshoot from a limited number of locations in the stands at the discretion of the home institution. The home institution will designate these locations in the stands for media photographers/videographers.SEC Football Pool Photos/Video Highlights:Per the 2020 SEC Football Game Management Policies, the field and sideline area shall only beaccessible by team members, game officials and essential personnel. A limited number of designated photographers are permitted on the field as essential personnel. Pool photos and poolvideo will be uploaded to the SEC Media Portal (see below for instructions to access) and willbe available to all media.SEC Media PortalHighlights, Photos & Press Conferences: The SEC and XOS Digital will provide a platform for distribution of game highlights, game photos and press conference content. Highlights from allSEC football games be available via the SEC Media Portal. Whenever school postgame pressconferences are available, they will be posted to the portal as well. Still photography will beavailable in the portal for the media at halftime and following each SEC football game andvideo will be available after each game. The SEC Media Access Guidelines continue to apply tothis content and are outlined in the 2020 credentialing registration process. To request accessto the SEC Media Portal and create an account, contact: licensing@xosdigital.com.CredentialsCredential requests for the 2020 SEC Football season and SEC Media Access Guidelines are available at the following credentials All materials, other than flipcards, shall be distributed digitally, including pre-game notes,game program information, statistics and quotes. Schools shall continue to print flipcards. Home and visiting team post-game press conferences will be conducted virtually, and accessible via password to media covering the game remotely. (Use of headphones due to ambientnoise in press boxes after games is encouraged for those on site.)
