Bulletin No.: 08-06-01-011 KJune,2016Page 320620902106322Set-up a dial indicator on the camshaft to bemeasured. Set the dial indicator to measure theaxial movement of the camshaft. To minimizemeasurement error, the dial indicator needs to beon the same axis as the camshaft. A magneticmount can be placed on the frame rail or a pieceof steel plate can be bolted to the top of the headas a reference surface for the dial indicator. Thedial indicator should have 0.1 mm (0.001 in) ofresolution. Position a screwdriver or small pry bar betweenthe camshaft cap and camshaft lobe. Apply forceto move the camshaft rearward.Be cautious not to damage the camshaft lobewhile applying this force.Zero the dial indicator.Apply force to move the camshaft forward(towards the camshaft phasers).Read the dial indicator. This is the end play of thecamshaft shaft.Notice: Do not use the phaser bolt as a pry point. Thismay cause damage to the camshaft sensor targetwheel or the head to camshaft cover sealing surface.Method 2: CaliperThe caliper should have 0.1 mm (0.001 ") of resolution.2056724

2. Engine Mount Tube - The engine mount tube is what holds the rocket engine. The tube is typically made from paper, and is strong enough to withstand the thrust created by the motor. The engine is NOT glued into the engine mount tube, because it has to be removed and replaced between flights. 3. Centering Rings - Since the engine mount

A file pointer must be declared and used to access a file. Declaring a file pointer would be in this general form: FILE * ptr_name for example: FILE * inFile; // for an input file FILE * outFile; // for an output file inFile and outFile are just variable names, and as you know, you can name your variables whatever you want.
