The Lord is my shepherd; there is nothing I shall want. The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. In verdantpastures he gives me repose; beside restful waters he leadsme; he refreshes my soul.R. The Lord is my shepherd; there is nothing I shall want.He guides me in right paths for his name’s sake. Even thoughI walk in the dark valley I fear no evil; for you are at my sidewith your rod and your staff that give me courage.R. The Lord is my shepherd; there is nothing I shall want. You spread the table before me in the sight of my foes; youanoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.R. The Lord is my shepherd; there is nothing I shall want.Only goodness and kindness follow me all the days of my life;and I shall dwell in the house of the LORD for years to come.R. The Lord is my shepherd; there is nothing I shall want.SECOND READING1 Corinthians 15:20–28Christ has been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of thosewho have fallen asleep. For since death came through ahuman being, the resurrection of the dead came also througha human being. For just as in Adam all die, so too in Christshall all be brought to life, but each one in proper order: Christthe firstfruits; then, at his coming, those who belong to Christ;then comes the end, when he hands over the kingdom to hisGod and Father.

For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under hisfeet. The last enemy to be destroyed is death, for he subjectedeverything under his feet. But when it says that everything hasbeen subjected, it is clear that it excludes the one whosubjected everything to him. When everything is subjected tohim, then the Son himself will also be subjected to the onewho subjected everything to him, so that God may be all in all.ALLELUIAJohn 11:25aAlleluiaI am the resurrection and the life, says the Lord; whoeverbelieves in me will never die.Alleluia(Please be stand)GOSPELJohn 14:1–12Jesus said to his disciples:“Do not let your hearts be troubled. You have faith in God;have faith also in me. In my Father’s house there are manydwelling places. If there were not, would I have told you that Iam going to prepare a place for you? And if I go and preparea place for you, I will come back again and take you to myself,so that where I am you also may be. Where I am going youknow the way.” Thomas said to him, “Master, we do not knowwhere you are going; how can we know the way?” Jesus saidto him, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comesto the Father except through me. If you know me, then you willalso know my Father. From now on you do know him and haveseen him.” Philip said to him, “Master, show us the Father, and that will be enough for us.” Jesus said to him, “Have Ibeen with you for so long a time and you still do not know me,Philip? Whoever has seen me has seen the Father. How canyou say, ‘Show us the Father’? Do you not believe that I amin the Father and the Father is in me? The words that I speakto you I do not speak on my own. The Father who dwells in

me is doing his works. Believe me that I am in the Father andthe Father is in me, or else, believe because of the worksthemselves. Amen, amen, I say to you, whoever believes inme will do the works that I do, and will do greater ones thanthese, because I am going to the Father.”HOMILYYou are invited to share your personalmemories of Father Dale during this time.UNIVERSAL PRAYERWe pray for Pope Francis, Bishop McGovern and all Churchleaders, that God will give them the wisdom and courage theyneed as they lead the Church; let us pray to the LORD.Response: Lord hear our Prayers. In baptism Father Dale received the light of Christ.
