Themoney goes to help pay for schooling of our one adoptedchild overseas. Bishop Johnston will be installed as the 7th Bishop ofKansas City-St Joseph on November 4th at 2 pm at ourdiocesan Cathedral. Because Bishop Johnston has alreadybeen ordained as a Bishop, he will simply be installed asour Bishop. Bishop Finn was the only Bishop ever ordainedfor Kansas City-St Joseph. All of our other Bishops came tous from other assignments. Bishop Boland from Birminghamand Bishop Sullivan from Grand Island as examples. BishopJohnston will arrive at the Cathedral and will knock threetimes at the Cathedral doors. The Rector of the Cathedraland Archbishop Carlson of St Louis who is the metropolitanof Missouri will greet him and present him the crucifix andlead him to the altar. He will present his papal assignmentto the Priest Consulters of our diocese who will acknowledge him as our new Bishop. Then the proclamation ismade that we have a new Bishop. Let us pray for our newBishop and for our diocesan church of Northwest Missoouri.MATERIAL NEEDEDPARISH SCHOOL OF RELIGIONClasses have resumed, there is still time to enroll,please call 229-5168 or email Susan atsusan@robertbellarmine.org.
