SAN ONOFRE NUCLEAR GENERATING STATIONUNIT 3SUMMARY REPORT2 OF 121 INTRODUCTIONThis document refers to the implementation of the Inservice Inspection (ISI)conducted at the San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station (SONGS) Unit 3 for thefirst period of the third Interval.1st Interval2nd Interval3rd IntervalAugust 18, 1983 through August 17, 1993August 18, 1993 through August 17, 2003August 18, 2003 through August 17, 2013Each 10-year Interval is further divided into 3 periods, which is adjusted toaccommodate one or two refueling outages in each period. Adjustments of theIntervals to accommodate these refueling outages are allowed by the ASMESection XI Code (Code) to extend or decrease the Interval by as much as 1 year.This extension was used in the 1st 10-year Interval, which ended in March 1994.The 1st and 2nd 10-year Intervals are:1st Interval2nd IntervalAugust 18, 1983 through March 31, 1994April 1, 1994 through August 17, 2003Scheduled periods for the third 10-year ISI Interval are listed below.
