About I2PPCI²PCC – connecting cleantech companies between Belgian and Chinese partner regionsI²PCC is a joint project of the Belgian provinces of Antwerp, Limburg, East Flanders and Flemish Brabant. It enables cleantech companies from theseprovinces to become acquainted with the potential and importance of the Chinese market, in order to stimulate actual collaborations and BelgianChinese projects. To do so, the provinces work closely together with their partners in the Chinese sister regions.The cleantech sector in Flanders is characterized by many new, small companies and ranks very high in terms of innovation. By stimulating andsupporting internationalization, companies are given the opportunity to expand the scope of their innovations and strengthen Flanders as an innovativeregion.Due to the high degree of urbanization that China has experienced over the past30 years, China is an interesting and important market for Flemish cleantechcompanies. The objective of I²PCC is also perfectly aligned with the 2025 Madein China strategy and the shift to more green manufacturing projects in China. Theexpertise and experience of Flemish companies can support the Chinese regions inthe realization of green factories and green industrial parks and projects to promoteenergy efficiency, environmental protection, resource usage, remanufacturing andlow-carbon technologies.All Flemish provinces have a partnership with a sister region in China - often spanningover multiple years - with an emphasis on economic cooperation. I²PCC alsospecifically focusses on these sister regions, being Chengdu, Chongqing, Guangdong,Hebei and Shaanxi. This network establishes a unique bridge between the Flemishand Chinese cleantech industry.The I²PCC-project receives European funding (ERDF) and is supported by CleantechFlanders and Flanders Investment & Trade.Contact details
