SyllabusI.III.A detailed analysis of the main aspects oflaw related to sport will be carried out sothat students can subsequently understandthe current legal and social framework inthis regard. Likewise, in this first phase wewill try to consolidate some fundamentallegal concepts and understand theorganisation of our industry in the mainregions of the world.We will carefully examine theparticularities of each of the mainfields of law affecting sport, namelylabour law, commercial law, tax law,Audiovisual Media Services regulations,Regulatory Compliance and National andInternational Federative Regulations andso on, through work sessions and casestudies reflecting the real quandaries ofthis sector.II.IV.We will study both national andinternational sports institutions, focusingon those organisations that are directlyrelated to the world of football: FIFA, UEFA,EPFL, LaLiga and ECA.We will explain in detail the differentmechanisms available for conflictresolution, paying special attention to thepreparation of proceedings before theCourt of Arbitration for Sport. Likewise, we will also conductteaching sessions to familiarize studentswith other subjects, which, regardlessof their lack of strictly legal content,are fundamental to understand thenew perspective of our business: digitalstrategy, corporate social responsibility ornew communication techniques.Students will have to prepare theirMaster’s Thesis under the monitoring oftheir assigned supervisor.
