The Call of AbramGenesis 11:27 – 12:9 Now these are the generations ofTerah. Terah fathered Abram, Nahor, and Haran; and Haranfathered Lot. 28 Haran died in the presence of his fatherTerah in the land of his kindred, in Ur of the Chaldeans. 29And Abram and Nahor took wives. The name of Abram'swife was Sarai, and the name of Nahor's wife, Milcah, thedaughter of Haran the father of Milcah and Iscah. 30 NowSarai was barren; she had no child. -
The Call of Abram31 Terah took Abram his son and Lot the son of Haran, hisgrandson, and Sarai his daughter-in-law, his son Abram'swife, and they went forth together from Ur of theChaldeans to go into the land of Canaan, but when theycame to Haran, they settled there. 32 The days of Terahwere 205 years, and Terah died in Haran. -

The Call of AbramWe need to listen to God’s call on our lives making sure weare where He wants us to be. As we listen to His voice andfollow His leading, He promises to direct our paths, blessus, and build us up in our faith. We need to do all we can tobe a blessing to everyone around us, faithfully living underHis clear direction. God is the one who will make us ablessing to others. He is the one who will protect us. He isthe one who will lift us up to use us in amighty way for His ultimate glory.
