114Morris 8 1936 series 1 2 door saloon.Originally owned by The Rowntrees company of York and still retainsits original registration albeit now non transferable. The engine hasbeen rebuilt some 5000miles ago and new clutch fitted, the car isrunning very sweetly with excellent oil pressure. The braking systemhas been refurbished with new master cylinder and rebuilt wheelcylinders. A new G Volt battery fitted. The interior has been retrimmed at some stage apart from the headlining. 123Albion Type 26 lorry.First registered August 1930.New to Lyons in 1930 as part of their very large Albion fleet after sixyears it went to Waring and Gillows fleet, it was later retired. In the1970's Mr Tom Shanks started its restoration to a high standard athuge cost back to its original livery of Lyons. Jim Wilkinson played abig part in its restoration, a well known Albion enthusiast. It has beenwith Peter Jones since 2001 as part of a 15 strong Albion collectiondriven around its home The Isle Of Man and North of England. Usedbut not registered in IOM. A vehicle with very good provenance, lotsof care, good fun to drive, under 9ft tall and 20ft long with no workrequired.Reg LSJ 310. V5
