As we increase in enrolments theGoverning Council has supported the establishmentof an Accommodation Committee whose role is todevelop an accommodation strategy for GoodwoodPrimary’s future space. We have been trialling differentelectronic newsletter formats and gettingfeedback about how they can be streamlined.Our last newsletter had a glitch in opening upthe attachments, we apologise for this. We were able to build on our understandingof the English Australian Curriculum in terms ofgrammar and a language for talking about languagewith our students. Bev introduced us to a numberof practical activities for teaching about languageand supporting students’ reading and writing inthe context of imaginative and informative texts.It is important that we continually build on ourrepertoire of learning tasks to support and engageour students. Building teacher capacity andunderstanding is vital to ensuring we provide cuttingedge learning experiences for your child(ren).People’s Choice Credit Union LotteryThank you to all those community members whohave taken lottery books to sell. A huge thank yougoes to the parents and family members who havebeen distributing the books in the mornings andafternoons. From June 1st onwards you can getbooks from Marion in the front office.All books and money will need to be returned to theschool by Friday the 19th of June.
