Secure implement using blocksand supports.3Call Toll Free: 877-788-7253

TIRE SAFETY Tire changing can be dangerousand must be performed by trainedpersonnel using the correct toolsand equipment. Always maintain correct tirepressure. Do not inflate tiresabove recommended pressuresshown in the Operator’s Manual. When inflating tires, use a clip-onchuck and extension hose longenough to allow you to standto one side and NOT in front ofor over the tire assembly. Use asafety cage if available. Securely support the implementwhen changing a wheel. When removing and installingwheels, use wheel handlingequipment adequate for theweight involved. Make sure wheel bolts have beentightened to the specified torque. Some attachments may havefoam or sealant inside them andmust be disposed of properly.OPERATION SAFETY Stay alert for holes, rocks, androots in the terrain and otherhidden hazards. Keep away fromdrop-offs.Stop implement immediatelyupon striking an obstruction.Turn engine off, remove key, inspect and repair any damagebefore resuming operation.Never operate tractor andimplement under trees with lowhanging limbs. Operators can beknocked off the tractor and thenrun over by implement.Visit: www.abisupport.com TRANSPORT SAFELYComply with federal, state, andlocal laws.Use towing vehicle and trailer ofadequate size and capacity Secureequipment towed on a trailer withtie downs and chains.Sudden braking can cause atowed trailer to swerve and upset.Reduce speed if towed trailer isnot equipped with brakes.Avoid contact with any overheadutility lines or electrically chargedconductors.Always drive with load on end ofloader arms low to the ground.Always drive straight up anddown steep inclines with heavyend of a tow vehicle with loaderattachment on the “uphill” side.PRACTICE SAFE MAINTENANCE Understand procedure before doingwork. Refer to the Operator’s Manualfor additional information. Work on a level surface in a clean dryarea that is well-lit. Lower implement to the groundand follow all shutdown proceduresbefore leaving the operator’s seat toperform maintenance. Do not work under any hydraulicsupported equipment. It can settle, suddenly leak down, or be loweredaccidentally. If it is necessary towork under the equipment, securelysupport it with stands or suitableblocking beforehand. Use properly grounded electricaloutlets and tools. Use correct tools and equipment forthe job that are in good condition. Allow equipment to cool beforeworking on it.4 Engage park brake when stopped onan incline.Maximum transport speed for anattached equipment is 20 mph. DONOT EXCEED. Never travel at a speedwhich does not allow adequatecontrol of steering and stopping. Some rough terrains require a slowerspeed. As a guideline, use the followingmaximum speed weight ratios forattached equipment:- 20 mph when weight of attachedequipment is less than or equalto the weight of machine towingthe equipment.- 10 mph when weight of attachedequipment exceeds weight ofmachine towing equipment butnot more than double the weight.IMPORTANT: Do not tow a load thatis more than double the weight of thevehicle towing the load. Disconnect battery ground cable(-) before servicing or adjustingelectrical systems or before weldingon implement.Inspect all parts. Make certain partsare in good condition & installedproperly.Replace parts on this implementwith genuine ABI Attachments partsonly.Do not alter this implement in away which will adversely affect itsperformance.Do not grease or oil implementwhile it is in operation.Remove buildup of grease, oil, ordebris.Always make sure any material andwaste products from the repair andmaintenance of the implement areproperly collected and disposed.Remove all tools and unused partsbefore operation.

PREPARE FOR EMERGENCIES Be prepared if a fire starts. Keep a first aid kit and fireextinguisher handy. Keep emergency numbersfor doctor, ambulance, hospital, and fire departmentnear phone.WEAR PERSONAL PROTECTIONEQUIPMENT (PPE) Wear protective clothing andequipment appropriate for thejob such as safety shoes, safetyglasses, hard hat, and ear plugs. Clothing should fit snug withoutfringes and pull strings to avoidentanglement with moving parts. Prolonged exposure to loud noisecan cause hearing impairmentor hearing loss. Wear suitablehearing protection such asearmuffs or earplugs. Operating equipment safelyrequires the operator’s fullattention. Avoid wearingheadphones while operatingequipment.USE SAFETY LIGHTS AND DEVICES Slow moving tractors, skidsteers, self-propelled machines, and towed equipment cancreate a hazard when driven onpublic roads. They are difficultto see, especially at night. Usethe Slow Moving Vehicle sign(SMV) when on public roads.Flashing warning lights andturn signals arerecommendedwhenever driving onpublic roads.AVOID UNDERGROUND UTILITIES Dig Safe, Call 811 (USA Alwayscontact your local utilitycompanies (electrical, telephone, gas, water, sewer, and others)before digging so that theymay mark the location of anyunderground services in the area.Be sure to ask how close youcan work to the marks theypositioned.Email: support@abiattachments.comAVOID HIGH PRESSUREFLUIDS HAZARD Escaping fluid under pressurecan penetrate the skin causingserious injury. Before disconnecting hydrauliclines or performing work on thehydraulic system, be sure torelease all residual pressure. Make sure all hydraulic fluidconnections are tight and allhydraulic hoses and lines are ingood condition before applyingpressure to the system. Use a piece of paper or cardboard,NOT BODY PARTS, to check forsuspected leaks. Wear protective gloves and safetyglasses or goggles when workingwith hydraulic systems. DO NOT DELAY. If an accidentoccurs, see a doctor familiar withthis type of injury immediately.Any fluid injected into the skinor eyes must be treated within afew hoursor gangrenemay result.USE SEAT BELT AND ROPS ABI Attachments recommends theuse of a CAB or roll-over protectivestructures (ROPS) and seatbelt in almost all tow vehicles.Combination of a CAB or ROPSand seat belt will reduce the risk ofserious injury or death if the towvehicle should be upset. If ROPS is in the locked-upposition, fasten seat belt snuglyand securely to help protectagainst serious injury or deathfrom falling and machineoverturn.5KEEP RIDERS OFF MACHINERY Never carry riders on tractor orimplement.Riders obstruct operator’s viewand interfere with the controlof the tow vehicle.Riders can be struck by objectsor thrown from the equipment.Never use tractor or implementto lift or transport riders.Call Toll Free: 877-788-7253

Here is an example of the 4 cuff technique. If the systolic blood pressure can be determined accurately, a difference of 20 mm or greater .

Section 9: Pulse Volume Recording (PVR) Waveform Interpretation . The Vantage ABI is an innovative system with a cuff‐based technology for performing the ankle‐ brachial index (ABI) exam used to assist in the diagnosis of peripheral arterial disease (P.A.D.). The system provides accurate measurement of the ABI across the full range of P.A .

The ABI is simply the ankle systolic pressure divided by the brachial systolic pressure. The range for normal ABI is between 1.0 and 1.1.15–18In the presence of significant arterial disease, the ABI is typically less than 1.0.15,18 However, it is possible for a patient to have arterial disease yet have a resting ABI of 1.0 or greater.18,19

TM-ABI INTENTED USE The TM-ABI is indicated for use on adult subjects at risk of having or developing peripheral arterial disease (PAD). TM-ABI is intended for the rapid measurement of ankle-brachial pressure index (ABPI), or ankle-brachial index (ABI), and pulse volume recording (PVR) / volume plethysmography in adults.

The accuracy of ABI can be affected by the length of the rest period prior to the test, cuff placement, cuff size and the speed of inflation / deflation. An ABI between 0.91 and 1.30 is normal and indicates an absence of arterial disease; ABI less than 0.91 indicate PAD and less than or equal to 0.40 indicates critical ischemia.

To determine the ABI value, the systolic blood pressure values of the arms and legs must be measured. Blood pressure measurement values are given in mmHg (mm of mercury). The ABI is calculated as a quotient of the systolic pressure of the leg measurement (the mean pressure of the posterior and anterior tibial arteries) and the higher systolic
