These components zip off together when the user wants tocombine the pack body to an ABS Vario Base Unit.HARNESS FITThe harness straps should wrap fully around your shoulders with no gapsbetween the pack and your back. The padded part of the harness strapsshould end 1"/2.5cm- 2"/5cm below the armpits and the sternum strapadjusted to approximately 2"/5cm below the collarbone.KAMBER ABS SERIESTo attach an ABS Vario Base Unit to your Kamber ABS Compatible Series pack:1 Locate the peripheral elasticized fabric zipper guard on the backpanel of the packand fold it back around the entire backpanel to expose the attachment zipper.2 Find the zipper pull at the bottom of the pack’s backpanel and unzip the Kamberbackpanel from the main pack body in its entirety.3 Now you can zip on your Kamber ABS Vario Unit for the utmost in backcountrysnowsport safety. Reverse this process to reattach the Kamber backpanel.4

To operate the ErgoPull , loosen thewebbing enough so you can connect the center buckle.Then grasp the loose ends of the webbing on eitherside, and pull in and across evenly with both hands.HELMET CARRY42L / 22 10LDedicated helmet carry systems in both the KamberABS 42 and 22 10 packs provide stable and securecarry of helmets.Kamber ABS Compatible 22 10 Helmet Carry:1 Locate the zippered slash pocket on the pack’s frontpanel and extend the stowable helmet carry flapoutwards from the pocket.2 Connect the helmet’s chinstrap through the nylonloop with the helmet icon at the top of the pack andextend the helmet carry flap over the helmet andattach the two male buckles on the carry flap to thetwo sewn in female buckles at the top of the packand tension the webbing to secure. Reverse thisprocess to remove the helmet and restow the helmetcarry flap.For the Kamber ABS Compatible 42 Helmet Carry:1 Locate the top zippered compartment of the pack’stop pocket and unzip to access the integratedhelmet carry system.2 Unbuckle the two integrated helmet carry straps andconnect the helmet’s chinstrap through the nylonloop with the helmet icon located at the front of thetop pocket.3 Re-buckle the nylon carry straps over the helmet andtension to secure. Reverse this process to removethe helmet.INSULATED HYDRATION42L / 22 10LAn internal sewn-in hydration sleeve with reservoirhanger and a fully insulated, dual zippered harness routerwith a hypo-allergenic stretch garage provides ice-freehydration.When using the the ABS system, load your hydrationreservoir into the sewn-in reservoir sleeve via thebackpanel entry and route the hose through the portand dedicated hydration zipper at the top of the pack toensure proper ABS system function.When the ABS system isn't in use, load your hydrationreservoir into the sewn-in reservoir sleeve via thebackpanel entry and route the hose through the port intothe right insulated shoulder harness using the hook andloop attachment to secure.KAMBER ABS SERIES5

FEATURE DETAILSTOP LOAD ACCESS42LThe Kamber ABS Compatible 42 features bothbackpanel access as well as top load access to the mainpack body providing ease of loading and quick access toneeded items. You can top load by disconnecting the toppocket retention straps and flipping back the top pocketto gain access via the drawstring weather closure andgain backpanel access via the dual zippers found on thebackpanel.ZIPPERED EXPANSION22 10LYou can gain an additional ten liters of storagecapabilities by utilizing the expansion zipper.To utilize:1 locate the expansion zipper pull on the left sidepanel of the pack near the sewn in sizing tag.2 Unzip the zipper all the way around the pack bodyuntil the zipper terminates once again on the leftside panel near the base of the pack. Reverse thisprocess to contract the expansion pocket.TOP POCKET42LThe dual compartment top pocket features aheat embossed, scratch free goggle pocket andample small gear storage in the lower zipperedcompartment and an integrated helmet carry systemin the upper zippered compartment. Please see theHelmet Carry section above to properly utilize theKamber ABS Compatible 42 Helmet Carry System.ZIPPERED GOGGLE POCKET22 10LA top zippered goggle pocket featuring scratch freeheat embossed fabric provides secure and protectedgoggle carry as well as additional storage capabilities.ROPE COMPRESSION STRAP42LAn integrated rope compression strap sewn into theunderside of the top pocket allows for stable, securerope carry between the top pocket and main pack body.To utilize:1 Unbuckle the two top pocket retention straps andflip back the top pocket to expose the orange ropecompression strap.2 With the pack full, place the coiled rope through thecompression strap and cinch as required using theslider buckle.3 With rope draped over the main pack body,reconnect the top pocket and cinch the top pocketretention straps as needed to stabilize. Additionally,the side A-frame carry/compression straps canbe utilized to tension the ends of the coiled ropesecurely when skis are not being carried.KAMBER ABS SERIESPANEL LOAD ACCESS22 10LThe Kamber ABS Compatible 22 10 features bothbackpanel access as well as panel load access tothe main pack body providing ease of loading andquick access to needed items. You can panel loadvia the dual zippered access entry found on thefront panel and gain backpanel access via the dualzippers found on the backpanel.6

FEATURE DETAILSA-FRAME SKI CARRY (42 L ONLY)Dual, lower reinforced ski carry loops andupper reinforced carry/compression strapscombine for A-frame style ski carry in an ABS compatible pack.1 Slip the ski tails through the lowerreinforced ski carry loops tips up.2 Clip the upper carry/compression strapsaround the skis.3 Re-engage the buckles and tension thestraps around the skis for stable A-frameski carry.4 Reverse to remove skis.DIAGONAL SKI CARRYDiagonal ski carry utilizes one side of the bottomfront panel webbing and secures on the oppositeside of the top front panel webbing.VERTICAL SNOWBOARD CARRYDual upper and lower reinforced strap wings onthe reinforced fabric front panel of the Kamberprovide stable vertical snowboard carry.1 Loosen lower webbing via the slider buckle, slipski tails into position beneath the reinforcedarea of the strap and re-tension strap securely.2 Unclip the top carry straps via the glove friendlybuckle beneath the protective fabric loopand place upper portion of ski beneath thereinforced area of the opposite strap and reattach the buckle.3 Use the cam locking slider buckle and webbingon the side of the pack to tension skis into placefor stable carry. Reverse to remove skisfrom pack.1 Undo lower webbing strap completely viathe slider buckle, place snowboard bindingsbeneath the rear binding and tensionsecurely into place.2 Unclip the top carry straps via the glovefriendly buckle beneath the protectivefabric loop and place upper portion ofsnowboard beneath the reinforced area ofthe opposite strap and reattach the buckle,tensioning the strap into place across thesnowboard and using the cam-lock sliderbuckle (A-frame ski carry) to tension forstable carry.3 Reverse to remove.
