Our NIAL JV2 and JV Boys’ Basketballteams advanced to the playoffs last week and madeit to the semi-finals. Congratulations to the NIALgirls’ varsity and boys’ JV and varsity soccer teamsfor advancing to the championship games, whichwere held last Wednesday, February 9th. Our boys’varsity soccer team finished the season undefeatedand are the 2022 NIAL Soccer Junior High BoysChampions. Our girls’ varsity soccer team are the2022 NIAL Soccer Junior High Girls Champions,and our boys’ JV soccer team are the 2022 NIALSoccer Middle School Boys Runners-up. Great job,teams!On Wednesday, February 2nd, our very own Ms.Lisa Duncan was inducted into ArchbishopChapelle High School’s Athletic Hall of Fame.While in high school, Lisa played volleyball,basketball, indoor ball, and track & field. Lisaexcelled in all of these sports. Congratulations, Ms.Duncan!Last Thursday, our second grade students put on afantastic play called Goin’ Buggy. It was a specialtreat for all who could attend.On Friday, February 11th, we held our Taste ofTammany. The evening was a great success. Iwould like to thank Vita Dickens for making thiswonderful event possible. I would also like to thankeveryone who worked behind the scenes anddonated items. Their dedication to the school isamazing. It certainly makes you proud to be a partof the OLL community. In addition, I would like tothank our Cardinal sponsors, Premier sponsors,event sponsors, our table sponsors, and KeithYoung’s The Greystone.On Tuesday, February 15th, Wednesday, February16th, and Thursday, February 17th, our fourth gradestudents will be performing Dear Edwina Jr.On Friday, February 18th, our dance team andcheerleaders will march in the Krewe of Eveparade.
