LAUSD & Census 2020What does it mean for us? For you? For me? For schools in the Los Angeles Unified, alone, approximately 500 million is provided for ourstudents. This funds more teachers, nurses, staff and health services in our schools, specifically Title I, II and IVdollars. An additional 76 billion each year is also provided to the State of California for housing, buses,public clinics, libraries, bridges, highway renovations and other places of need. We want to inform every household and offer guidance to complete a Census questionnairebetween March-October 31st, 2020. That’s why every person needs to be counted!
