GTVC (W)KHALABATProspectus2020 &onwardINTRODUCTIONIn KPK, TEVTA administration until recently was in fragmented manner and controlled by differentdepartments of KP Government. Due to lack of coordination these Departments were performingoverlapping functions, especially in the area of Vocational Trainings and do not focus on effective controland did not align to Federal / Provincial Policy Framework. Besides, infrastructure of these institutions interms of buildings, equipment, machinery and faculty did not meet national and international standards. Dueto proficiency gaps trained manpower was not acceptable to local & international labor markets theseinstitutes were handed over to Pakistan Air Force for up gradation.GTVC W), KTS Haripur was established BY KP-TEVTA on 29th December, 2006 .It was handed over toKP-STVET in October 2017 .So far 900 youth has been trained. The institute has made considerableimprovements in all domains, including Administration, Academics, Finances and Procurements, Inventorymanagement, Security, Environment, Workshops and Training equipment. Besides enrollment enhancementfrom 84-350, other performance indicators like discipline, training quality, placement etc. have also beenimproved. The institute has now attained the level, whereby the accreditation process with National andInternational Bodies has been started. We are committed to transform the institute to state of the artvocational training Centre.6 Page
