Updated COVID-19 Safety Precautions at Temple SinaiIn response to increasing cases of COVID-19 and increasing prevalence of the delta and omicronvariants, Temple Sinai is making a few changes to its policies.Temple Sinai will not be serving food at programs and services. Therefore, onegs have beenput on hold for January.Temple Sinai will have sign-in sheets for programs and services for contact tracing purposes.Temple Sinai will continue to require that masks be worn in the building.Temple Sinai's Medical Advisory Committee encourages the use of high-quality masks,such as KN95.Throughout the pandemic, Temple Sinai has emphasized the priority of pikuach nefesh (the preservationof life) in balancing our responsibility to safeguard our congregation and our desire for communalgatherings, including worship. We have followed CDC and State guidance in defining our safetyprotocols, and we continue to update them regularly in response to changing conditions.Temple Sinai also urges all its members to be vaccinated.
