How to use this bookWelcome to Victoria University of Technology’s TAFEHandbook 2002. The Handbook is designed to providestudents with detailed information on course structure,module/unit content, on-campus facilities and Universityregulations and procedures required for the successfulcompletion of study.The introduction to this Handbook lists all courses offered bythe TAFE Division of Victoria University. The GeneralCourse Information section outlines useful informationspecific to the TAFE Division regarding applicationprocedures, fees and charges, the Australian QualificationsFramework, articulation, recognition of qualifications andother services available to students. The sections on thevarious Schools within the TAFE Division outline therequirements and structure of all courses offered byindividual Departments within each School. The courseoutlines are followed by the Module Details chapter, whichgives detailed descriptions of all modules/units offered. Themodules/units are listed in alphanumeric order according totheir module/unit code.The back sections of the Handbook include usefulinformation about articulation and credit transfer, recognitionof prior learning, admission and enrolment procedures andservices available to students.
