Some ClarificationIt’s important to start by discussing the numerous conflicting terms aroundGovernment Community Cloud (GCC) licensing. One of the first points of confusioncomes from the interchangeable use of ‘E’ and ‘G’ when referring to ‘E1’ and ‘G1’ forexample. For all intents and purposes, you can (as of this edition) use either letter.Microsoft has not officially adopted one letter across their publications; thus, thisguide will only use the ‘E’ naming convention. Also, please note: where you see the‘G’ naming convention elsewhere on the web, it does not signify GCC licensing.There is often confusion on what is GCC vs GCC High and what tenant type is bestfor a particular organization.
