Bythe beginning of 2011, we will have launched a total of 29 new silvercompetencies with associated gold competencies (collectively referredto ―competencies‖).Most solution competencies are aligned to our Infrastructure Optimization(IO) initiative, which we developed to support organizations in their quest toimprove operational efficiency and better support business activities. As yourcustomers progress through the maturity levels of an IO model (three modelswith four levels each), they will better align Information Technology with theorganization’s business agenda. IT departments that successfully navigate theIO path will eventually transition from being viewed as a cost center to astrategic business asset.
