WHAT WE BELIEVEWe believe that the Bible is God’s Word. It is accurate, authoritative and applicable to oureveryday lives.We believe in one eternal God who is the Creator of all things. He exists in three Persons: Godthe Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. He is totally loving and completely holy.We believe that sin has separated each of us from God and His purpose for our lives.We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ as both God and man is the only One who can reconcileus to God. He lived a sinless and exemplary life, died on the cross in our place, and rose again toprove His victory and empower us for life.We believe that in order to receive forgiveness and the ‘new birth’ we must repent of our sins,believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and submit to His will for our lives.We believe that in order to live the holy and fruitful lives that God intends for us, we need to bebaptised in water and be filled with the power of the Holy Spirit. PRE-SERVICE COUNTDOWNPurpose: This is a 3 minute high impact service countdown video to build atmosphere atthe beginning of your program.How to use:Play the video 3 minutes before you want to begin the upfront section of your service.As children are dropped off to your service they could be engaged in free play activitiesand games, and then as the preservice countdown video is played the children will knowthat is the time to pack up and gather together infront of your stage area. The Emcee ofyour service can be up the front during this time. In the final 10 second countdown theemcee can encourage the children to countdown together that will build excitementand anticipation for your service. After the preservice countdown video finishes you maychoose to go straight into praise and worship.Length: 3 minutes.WORSHIPPurpose: Energetic and inspiring praise and worship just for kids!How to use:There are two options available:1. Use the Worship Set on the BIG PICTURE DVD: This segment features a worship setfrom the songs from Unlikely Heroes. The worship set consists of 3 accompaniment trackvideos for you to use during praise and worship in your children’s ministry. Each BIG IDEAwill contain a different worship set from Unlikely Heroes.2.Use the UNLIKELY HEROES Worship digital files. BIG WORDPurpose: The BIG WORD is the scripture verse that corresponds to the BIG PICTURE for thechildren to commit to memory.How to use:There is a high retention Bible memory verse segment on the BIG PICTURE DVDs, that includeactions to assist in increasing your children’s scripture retention. Play the DVD and encourageto participate in singing along.The Print Material files also contain artwork to print the BIG WORD out on cards to give toyour children.The BIG MESSAGE and KDG studies refer to the BIG WORD. It is important to refer to the BIGWORD as often as possible to assist in increasing your children’s scripture retention.Length: approximately 3 minutes.BIG MESSAGEPurpose: The BIG MESSAGE is the interactive teaching experience for each BIG IDEA.
