bounties upon the new Nation which is called byThy Name; make glad in Thy might those wholawfully govern, that with them we may be led tovictory over our adversaries, having in Thine aida weapon of peace and a trophy invincible.Both now and ever, and unto ages of ages. Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace,and good will toward men. (thrice)O Lord, open Thou my lips, and my mouth shallshow forth Thy praise. (twice)ِِ و َعلى األ َْر ، العلى َوفي ، الم َّ ض ُ الم ْج ُد هلل في ََُ الس ِ)ً (ثالثا . الم َس ّرة َّ الناس ) (مََّرتَيْن . يا َر ُّب ا ْفتَ ْح َشَفتَ َّي َف ُي ْخِب َر َف ِمي ِبتَ ْسِب َحِتك PSALM 3O Lord, why are they multiplied that afflict me? ب لِماذا كثر َّال ِذين يح ِزنونِني؟ كثيرون قاموا ُّ يا َر َ ََ ُ ُْ ََُ َMany rise up against me. Many say unto my soul:ِThere is no salvation for him in his God. But . الص َل ُه ِبِإٰل ِهه َ َكثيرو َن َيقولو َن ل َنْفسي ال َخ . َعَل ّي Thou, O Lord, art my helper, my glory, and theِ ، وأ َْنت يا ر ُّب ِ ِبصو . ناص ِري وم ْج ِدي ورِافع رأسي ي ت َ َُ ََََْlifter up of my head. I cried unto the Lord withmy voice, and He heard me out of His holy أنا . َفأَجابِني ِم ْن جب ِل ُق ْد ِسه ، ت الر ِّب َّ إلى ُ ص َر ْخ ََََmountain. I laid me down and slept; I awoke, forَّ أل ، َرَق ْد ُت وِن ْم ُت ثُ َّم ُق ْم ُت َّ َن ُ َفال أ . نص ُرِني the Lord will help me. I will not be afraid of ten َخاف ُ الر َّب َي ِ ِمن ِربو thousands of people that set themselves against . ازِرين علي ِ الش َّ ات ِ المتو ، حيطين بي الم عب ََُُّْme round about. Arise, O Lord, save me, O myِٰ ِ خّل ، ُقم يا ر ُّب God, for Thou hast smitten all who without cause ت ُك َّل َم ْن َ ض َرْب َ َفِإَّن َك ، صني يا إلهي َ ْْ َare mine enemies; the teeth of sinners hast Thou ب ِ ي ِِ ل َّلر . طأة الخ نان َس َو َس َحْق َت أ ،ً عاديني باطال َََُّْbroken. Salvation is of the Lord, and Thy. الص وعلى َشعِبك َب َرَكتُك blessing is upon Thy people.ُ ال َخ I laid me down and slept; I awoke, for the Lordَّ أل ، أَنا َرَق ْد ُت َوِن ْم ُت ثُ َّم ُق ْم ُت . ص ُرني َّ َن ُ الر َّب َي ْن will help me.PSALM 37O Lord, rebuke me not in Thine anger, nor فِإ َّن . وال ِب ِرج ِزك تؤِدبني ، ال ِبغض ِبك توبِخني ، ب ُّ يا َر َ ْ ّ َُ َ ْْ ّ َُ َ َ َchasten me in Thy wrath. For Thine arrows areِfastened in me, and Thou hast laid Thy hand س َّ َو َم َّك ْن َت ، هام َك قد َن َش َب ْت ِف َّي َ َل ْي . علي َيدك َ س heavily upon me. There is no healing in my fleshِ َ لِجس ِدي ِشفاء ِم ْن و ْج ِه َغ الم ٌة في ٌََ َوال َس ، ضب َك ََin the face of Thy wrath; and there is no peace inِmy bones in the face of my sins. For mine ت َّ أل . ِعظامي ِم ْن َو ْجه َخطاياي ْ َن آثامي َق ْد تَعاَل iniquities are risen higher than my head; as aٍ َ َك ِحم ٍل ث ، َفو َق ْأرسي ْ َق ْد أ َْنتََن . قيل َق ْد ثَُقَل ْت َعَل َّي heavy burden have they pressed heavily upon ت َْme. My bruises are become noisome and corrupt ش ِقيت وانحنيت . جراحاتي ِمن ِقب ِل جهاَلتي ِ وقاح ْت ُ َْ َ ْ َ ُ ََ َ َْin the face of my folly. I have been wretched andَِِّ و ، الغاية َّ أل . هار ُكَّل ُه َم َش ْي ُت عا ِب ًسا utterly bowed down until the end; all the day long ي َقد َّ َن َم ْت َن َ إلى َ الن I went with downcast face. For my loins are filled ش ِقيت واتَّضعت . هازئ وليس لِجس ِدي ِشفاء َِْ َ َ َ امتَألَ َم with mocking, and there is no healing in my ُ ْ َ َ ُ َُِِِِّ يا َر . َوُك ْن ُت أَئ ُّن م ْن تََن ُّهد َقْلِبي ، ِج ًّدا flesh. I am afflicted and humbled exceedingly, I ِإ َّن ُب ْغ َيتي ، ب have roared from the groaning of my heart. Oَِّ َق ِد اضطرب . ف عنك َ وتََن ُّهدي َل ْم َي ْخ ، أمام َك َ ُكلها Lord, before Thee is all my desire, and my َ َ َ ِْ َقْلِبي و groaning is not hid from Thee. My heart is . ضا َلم يبق معي ُ َون ، فارَق ْتني ُقَّوِتي ْ َ ْ ً ور َع ْي َن َّي أ َْي ََُ ََtroubled, my strength hath failed me; and theِِِِ َّ أَص ِدقائي وأَ ْق ِربائي َد َنوا مّني ووَقُفوا َل َد light of mine eyes, even this is not with me. My َوج ْنسي ، ي ََْْfriends and my neighbors drew nigh over against ، طلُبون نْف ِسي َج َه َدِني َّال ِذ َوأ . ف ِمِّني َب ِع ًيدا ْ ين َي ََََ َوَق ُْme and stood, and my nearest of kin stood afar3

off. And they that sought after my soul usedviolence; and they that sought evils for me spakevain things, and craftiness all the day long didthey meditate. But as for me, like a deaf man Iheard them not, and was as a speechless man thatopeneth not his mouth. And I became as a manthat heareth not, and that hath in his mouth noreproofs. For in Thee have I hoped, O Lord; Thouwilt hearken unto me, O Lord my God. For I said:Let never mine enemies rejoice over me; yea,when my feet were shaken, those men spakeboastful words against me. For I am ready forscourges, and my sorrow is continually beforeme. For I will declare mine iniquity, and I willtake heed concerning my sin. But mine enemieslive and are made stronger than I, and they thathated me unjustly are multiplied. They thatrender me evil for good slandered me, because Ipursued goodness. Be attentive unto my help, O Lord of mysalvation.ِ الش َّر تَ َكَّلموا ِباْل َّ والمْلتَ ِمسو َن لِي ول ُ وشا ً َو ُغ ُش ، باطل َ ط ُُ ُ ََِ الن َّ َخ َر َس ال ْ َوَكأ ، َص َّم ال َي ْس َم ُع ّ . هار َد َرُسوا َ أما أنا َف َكأ ِ . يْفتَح فاه ٍ كإن سان ال َي ْس َم ُع وال في َف ِم ِه ْ وص ْر ُت ُ َِِ يب ٌ تَ ْب ِك ُ تََوَّك ، يا َر ُّب ، ألَّني َعَل ْي َك . يت ُ أ َْن َت تَستَج ، لت ِ، لت ال َي ْش َم ْت بي أعدائي ُ ألَّني ُق . لي يا َرّبِي وإلهي َّ وع ْندما زَّلت َقدماي ع ألَِّني أَنا . الكالم َ ظ ُموا َعَل َّي َ َ َ ْ َ َ َِّ ِ ل ألَِّني أَنا . َوَو َج ِعي َل َد َّي في ُك ِّل ِحين ، لض ْر ِب ُم ْستَ ِعٌّد ِ ِ وأَهتَ ُّم ِمن أ ، أُخِبر ِبِإثْ ِمي َما أَعدائي ْ ُْ ّْ أ . َجل َخطيئتي َِ َِّ ِ َ وهم أ ، َفأَحياء ِ ضونِني َ ين يُ ْبغ َ وَق ْد َكثَُر الذ ، َش ُّد مّني ُْ َ ُِ الخ َم َحُلوا ِبي ، ير َش ًّرا جازوِني َب َد َل ين َّال ِذ ، ظْل ًما َََُِْ َفال تُ ْه ِمْلني يا َرّبِي َو ٰإلهي . الصالح َّ ألجل ْابِتغائي ِ. ونتي يا َر َّب َخالصي ْ َس ِر َ ع إلى َم ُع َ َ وال تَت ْ أ . باع ْد َعّني ِِٰ ع إلى ْ َس ِر َ َ َفال تُ ْهمْلني يا َرّبِي َوإلهي وال تَت ْ أ . باع ْد َعّني . ونتي يا َر َّب َخالصي َ َم ُع PSALM 62O God, my God, unto Thee I rise early at dawn. واشتاق ، ع ِطشت ِإليك نف ِسي . يا أَهلل ٰإلهي إليك أَبت ِكر َْ َ َ ْ َ َْ ََْ َُMy soul hath thirsted for Thee; how often hath ٍٍٍَِِ في أ ، يك َجسدي ِ َرض َب ِّرَّية َو َغ my flesh longed after Thee in a land barren and وكة َوعاد َمة َ ير َمسُل َ َ إَل untrodden and unwatered. So in the sanctuaryِ ظ َه ْر ُت َل َك في الُق ْد س ألُعاِين قوتك َ هٰكذا . الماء have I appeared before Thee to see Thy power َ َ َّ ُ َِ َن رحمتَك أَ ْفضل ِمن الح and Thy glory. For Thy mercy is better than lives; ي َّ َ َو َشَفت ، ياة َ ُ َ َ َ ْ َ َّ أل . َو َم ْج َدك َmy lips shall praise Thee. So shall I bless Thee inِِ ِ ُبارُكك في حياتي وب َ ِ هٰكذا أ . تُ َس ِّبحانك my life, and in Thy name will I lift up my hands. ع َُ اسم َك أ َْرَف ْ َِ وبِ ِش ، متلئ نْف ِسي َكما ِمن َشح ٍم ودسم As with marrow and fatness let my soul be filled, فاه َ ُ َ َ َفت ، َي َد ّي َ ََ ْ ْand with lips rejoicing shall my mouth praiseِِ ِThee. If I remembered Thee on my bed, at the ، ك على فراشي َ ُ إذا َذ َك ْرت . اإلبتها ِج ُي َس ِّب ُح َك َفمي ْdawn I meditated on Thee. For Thou art become ظ ِل ِ ِ صرت لِي عونا وب ِ ألََّنك ، ه َذ ْذت ِبك في األَسحار َْ ََ ُ َْmy helper; in the shelter of Thy wings will I ّ َ ً َِ جناحيك أ ِ ِrejoice. My soul hath cleaved after Thee; Thy ت ْ ض َد َ اي َع ْ َ َ ََ َوإِّي ، صَق ْت َنْفسي ب َك َ َ إْلت . َستَتر right hand hath been quick to help me. But as forِ أَما َّال ِذين يطُلبون نفسي . ي ِمينك فسيدخلون ، باطال َ َ ُ َ َُ َّthese, in vain have they sought after my soul; َ ُ ْ َ َ َ ًِ ويدَفعون إلى أ ، األرض ِ الس ِ في they shall go into the nethermost parts of the ، يوف أساف ِل ُّ َيدي َ ُ َُ ِearth, they shall be surrendered unto the edge ofِِ أَما . عالب ِ َ صب ًة لِْلث ُ َوَي ُك the sword; portions for foxes shall they be. the king shall be glad in God, everyone shall bepraised that sweareth by Him; for the mouth ofthem is stopped that speak unjust things.At the dawn I meditated on Thee. For Thou artbecome my helper; in the shelter of Thy wingswill I rejoice. I am ت م َن ْ َوَد َن ، ور َنفسي ْ امتَ َأل ْ َفَقد ، طل َبتي counted with them that go down into the pit; I am ِ، الج ّب ين في الم ْن َح ِد ِر ُح ِس ْب ُت َم َع . الجحي ِم َحياتي ََُُbecome as a man without help, free among theٍِِِ ثل إ ْن dead, like the bodies of the slain that sleep in the ين ْ َم ، ين ٌ سان َل ْي َس َل ُه ُمع َ وحا َب ً ط ُر َ ص ْر ُت م grave, whom Thou rememberest no more, andِ َّ ِ اقدين في الُقب َِِ الذ ، ور َ الر ّ مثل الَقتلى they are cut off from Thy hand.
