Please note calls maybe recorded.DEMANDS AND NEEDSThis Wedding insurance policy will suit the demands andneeds of a Marrying Couple who wish to insure specificrisks relating to their Wedding celebrations. Subject to thepolicy terms and conditions and the maximum specifiedclaim limits.IMPORTANTThis policy will have been sold to You on a non-advisedbasis and it is therefore important that You read this policywording (paying particular attention to the terms andconditions and exclusions) and ensure that it meets all ofYour requirements. If upon reading this policy You find thatit does not meet all of Your requirements, please refer tothe cancellation rights section.How to make a claimYou should contact the claims handlers as soon as You becomeaware of any circumstances likely to give rise to a claim. Allclaims will be handled by Acasta Europe Limited who act asthe Insurer’s intermediary in the UK. On the condition thatno claims have been made or are pending, Voyager InsuranceServices Ltd, will then return Your premium in full. ThereafterYou may cancel the insurance cover at any time by informingVoyager Insurance Services Ltd however no refund of premiumwill be payable. The insurer may at any time cancel anyinsurance document by giving 14 days notice in writing wherethere is a valid reason for doing so. A cancellation letter willbe sent to You at Your last known address. Valid reasons mayinclude but are not limited to;a. Where We reasonably suspect fraud.b. Non-payment of premium.c. Threatening and abusive behaviour.d. Non-compliance with policy terms and conditions.e. You have not taken reasonable care to provide accurateand complete answers to the questions Voyager InsuranceServices Ltd. asked.Provided the premium has been paid in full You will be entitledto a proportionate rebate of premium in respect of theunexpired period showing on the insurance.If We cancel the policy and/or any additional covers Youwill receive a refund of any premiums You have paid for thecancelled cover, less a proportionate deduction for the timeWe have provided cover.Where Our investigations provide evidence of fraud ormisrepresentation, We may cancel the policy immediately andbackdate the cancellation to the date of the fraud or the datewhen You provided Your Administrator / Your Agent withincomplete or inaccurate information. This may result in Yourpolicy being cancelled from the date You originally took it outand We will be entitled to keep the premium.If Your policy is cancelled because of fraud ormisrepresentation, this may affect Your eligibility for insurancewith Us, as well as other insurers, in the future.FraudYou must not act in a fraudulent way. If You or anyone actingfor You: fails to reveal or hides a fact likely to influencewhether We accept Your proposal, Your renewal, orany adjustment to Your policy; fails to reveal or hides a fact likely to influence thecover We provide; makes a statement to Us or anyone acting on Ourbehalf, knowing the statement to be false; sends Us or anyone acting on Our behalf a document,knowing the document to be forged or false; makes a claim under the policy, knowing the claim tobe false or fraudulent in any way; makes a claim for any loss or damage You causeddeliberately or with Your knowledge; or If Your claim is in any way dishonest or exaggerated,We will not pay any benefit under this policy or return anypremium to You and We may cancel Your policy immediatelyand backdate the cancellation to the date of the fraudulentclaim. Insurance documentYou should read this document carefully. It gives full detailsof what is and is not covered and the conditions of thecover. Conditions and exclusionsSpecific conditions and exclusions apply to individualsections of Your insurance, whilst general exclusions andconditions will apply to the whole of Your insurance.3. HealthThis insurance contains restrictions regarding the health ofthe Marrying Couple and any Relative (as defined) uponwhose health the Wedding plans depend. You are advisedto read this document carefully.4. Property claimsThese claims are paid based on the value of the goodsat the time You lose them and not on a 'new for old' orreplacement cost basis. Allowance will be made for theirage and likely condition.5. LimitsThis insurance has limits on the amount the insurerwill pay under each section. Some sections also includeother specific limits, for example, for any one item or forvaluables in total.6. Reasonable careYou need to take all reasonable care to protect yourself andYour property, as You would if You were not insured. Anyamounts the insurers will pay for property left unattendedin a public place or unattended vehicle is very limited, asspecified.7. DepositsThis Wedding insurance policy provides cover for depositsthat have already been paid prior to purchase, subject tothe normal policy terms and conditions.8. ExcessesPlease see the Benefits Schedule for details of excesses.9. Customer serviceWe always try to provide a high level of service. Howeverif You think We have not lived up to Your expectations,please refer to the wording which outlines Our complaintsprocedure.10.Cancellation rightsThis insurance contains a 14 day cooling off period duringwhich You can return it and get a full refund, providingthere are no claims. We reserve the right to deduct fromthe rebate of premium the necessary costs incurred inprocessing the original sale and cancellation.11.Fraudulent claimsIt is a criminal offence to make a fraudulent claim.IMPORTANT NOTE ON CORONAVIRUSWe draw Your attention to the exlusions detailed in the‘General Exclusions’ section, in particular exclusion 26 onpage 7 as this policy will not provide cover for any loss,damage, claim, cost(s) expense or other sums, directlyor indirectly caused by, arising or resulting from, or inconnection with any pandemic, epidemic, outbreak ofdisease or public health emergency, as declared by the WorldHealth Organisation (WHO), a national government agency/body, local authorities, or any officially recognised body.This policy also offers no cover for any disease, illness orconditions that is caused by or transmitted by means of anysubstance or agent from any organism to another organism(human or otherwise) where the substance or agentincludes, but is not limited to any pathogen, virus, bacterium,parasite, fungus or other organism, micro-organism orany mutation or variation thereof, whether deemed livingor not, and whether transmitted directly or indirectly bymeans of airborne transmission, bodily fluid transmission,transmission from or to any surface or object, solid, liquidor gas or between organisms. Unless You have paid theadditional premium to extend Section 1 cancellation andrearrangement cover under Section 17 only.2

DefinitionsListed below are certain words that appear throughout thepolicy. In all cases they will have the meanings shown below.Accident/accidental means a sudden, unexpected, unusual,specific, violent, external event, which occursat a single identifiable time and place and independently ofall other causes, results directly, immediately and solely inphysical Bodily injury which results in a loss.Wedding means a ceremony which creates a contract ofmarriage which is legally enforceable within the UnitedKingdom, including ceremonies of Civil partnership, or,for the purposes of this insurance, a similar single, specificevent/ceremony/blessing arranged to celebrate a marriageor renewal of vows.Wedding date means the day specified on the certificateof insurance for the Wedding to take place, and wheredifferent, the date of the Wedding reception.Additional costs means the difference between the originalcost of the Wedding and/or Wedding reception and therearranged Wedding and/or Wedding reception.Wedding gifts means gifts for the Marrying Couplepresented for the purposes of celebrating the Wedding,including cash and vouchers.Administrator/Agent means Voyager Insurance Services Ltd.Wedding party means the Bride and Groom, Parents ofthe Bride and Groom, Best Man, Maid of Honour andBridesmaids.Adverse weather means weather conditions are such thatthey cause major disruption to travel services, thuspreventing the participants and the majority of the guestsfrom reaching the Wedding venue.Attendants means non-professional participants in theWedding, traditionally attendant on the Marrying Couple.Bodily injury means an identifiable physical injury caused bysudden, external, violent and visible means.Bridal attire means clothing and accessories of a formalnature worn by the bride(s) at the Wedding whether hiredor owned.Ceremonial attire means clothing and accessories ofthe Marrying Couple, male and female Attendants and theparents of the Marrying Couple, whether hired or owned,excluding ceremonial swords.Civil partnership means a legally recognised union of twopeople, with similar rights and responsibilities to those ofmarriage.Coronavirus means SARS-CoV-2 (Severe acute respiratorysyndrome coronavirus 2) or any mutation of SARS-CoV-2,including COVID-19.Event Equipment means staging, chairs, tables, audio visualequipment and ancillary equipment whether hired, leasedor owned by You (or by another person on Your behalf)solely for the purpose of Your Wedding and/ or Weddingreception and for which You (or such other person) areresponsible.Wedding reception means the social gathering, includingbut not limited to, room hire and catering, followingwithin no more than 21 days of the Wedding, at which theWedding will be celebrated.Wedding rings means the ring(s) exchanged by theMarrying Couple at the Wedding.Wedding services means services traditional to thecelebration of a Wedding such as; professional photographyand/or professional video operation, professional Weddingplanner, floral arrangements, hired cars or other transport,Wedding guest accommodation that is paid for by theMarrying Couple, toastmaster, venue, Wedding cake,Ceremonial attire, catering, DJ/disco, band/musician or paidentertainment contracted by You to provide services at theWedding or Wedding reception. Wedding gift list providersare not included.We, our and us means Acasta European Insurance CompanyLimited.You and Your means the Marrying Couple named on thecertificate of insurance or, for the purposes of sections 1, 7and 16 and where appropriate, any of their Relatives whowould have made proven, significant financial contributionson which the Wedding plans depend. It is a condition of thisinsurance that at least one of the insured Marrying Coupleis Resident in the United Kingdom, unless agreed by Us andconfirmed in writing.Home means Your permanent residential address in theUnited Kingdom, unless agreed by Us and confirmed inwriting.Marquee means the hired marquee or tent includinggazebos, staging, flooring, chairs, tables and lighting. Theperiod of hire must not exceed 5 days, unless agreed by Usand confirmed in writing.Marrying Couple means the bride(s), groom(s) or CivilPartners.Mobile W.C. unit means the hired-in temporary lavatoryfacilities, including fixtures & fittings. The period of hiremust not exceed 5 days, unless agreed by Us and confirmedin writing.Period of insurance means as specifically defined in eachsection of this insurance.Relative means Your spouse/partner, (step) parent(s),grandparent(s), (step) children, grandchildren and siblings.Resident means a person who permanently resides in theUnited Kingdom.United Kingdom means, for the purposes of this insurance,England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, Channel Islands& the Isle of Man.Dreamsaver Wedding - VOYINS - V1 March 20223

Section 1Cancellation and rearrangement of thewedding and/or receptionCover under this section commences from the date thepremium is paid, and applies until completion of the Weddingand Wedding reception or a claim being made under thissection of the policy, whichever occurs first.Cover for bankruptcy or liquidation and Adverse weathercommences 14 days after the date the premium is paid.A - CancellationYou are covered up to the amount shown in the benefitsschedule for any irrecoverable expenses necessarily incurredby You in respect of Ceremonial attire, flowers, photographs,caterers, transport, accommodation, paid for by the MarryingCouple, and the services from any other Wedding servicesupplier booked but not used as a direct result of theunavoidable cancellation of the Wedding and/or Weddingreception as the result of;a. the booked venue or caterers for the Wedding orWedding reception being unable to hold Your Wedding dueto damage to the venue (including Marquee), murder orsuicide at the venue, closure of the venue or caterers by therelevant authority, bankruptcy or liquidation.b. the death, injury or sickness of the Marrying Couple or aRelative which would make continuance of the Weddinginappropriate.c. receipt of a summons for jury service for the second timewhere You can provide evidence that You are unable todefer the service.d. the unforeseen and total non-appearance on the day ofany booked and paid for professional Wedding services.e. Accidental complete loss of or severe damage to bridal/Ceremonial attire (of the Marrying Couple only) whichrenders the items unwearable, where the purchase or hireof alternatives is not possible.f. redundancy, where notice is received at least 8weeks after the issue of the certificate and qualifying forpayment under the current redundancy legislation, of theMarrying Couple or any of their Relatives who would havemade proven, significant, financial contributions on whichthe Wedding plans depend.g. Your unforeseen cancellation of previously agreed leaveorders of a serving member of the UK armed forces orunavoidable and necessary duty for the ambulance service,coastguard, fire brigade or police personnel.h. the non-appearance of the officiating minister or registrar.i. the inability of the Marrying Couple and the majority of theguests to reach the Wedding or Wedding reception venuedue to Adverse weather conditions.
