That’s why Yale implemented a largeturntable bearing and standard rubber tire toreduce the force required to turn the steer tire.You’re in control.The shorter, mid-mounted handle moves the operator closer to the truck, maximizing bothvisibility and maneuverability. The handle on the MPB-VG truck has the largest run zonein the industry, enabling it to be operated comfortably by a wide variety of operators.The control handle has been ergonomically designed to minimize wrist movementand provide a solid grip for additional control while operating the unit in allapplications, even the tightest of spaces. Lift, lower and horn push buttons areconveniently located at the operator’s fingertips for easy access without having torelease the hand from the grip. The butterfly throttle control provides maximumcontrollability when selecting direction and speed, minimizing operator fatigue.The Creep Speed can be activated in all handle positions, throughout the run zoneand in the full upright position. Being able to turn the Creep Speed on or off whileoperating the truck is extremely convenient when maneuvering in congested areas.

Yale engineerstargeted several areas to ensure we wouldhave one of the most stable trucks on themarket. The frame was reinforced to increasetorsional stiffness. A heavy duty torsion barand linkage were also implemented. Thecombination of these elements work togetherto reduce torsional twisting, giving the MPB-VGone of the most stable frames in the industry.Your Yale walkie can utilize the CreepSpeed control throughout the handle runzone. When the handle is in the run zoneand the Creep Speed is engaged, theMPB-VG slows the speed and accelerationof the truck, giving the operator greaterconfidence in congested applications.Yale designed a low-profile bumper andshortened fork tip lengths to provide atight right angle turn for easier right anglestacking, equal aisle cornering and improvedmaneuverability within a trailer. Fork tips featurea tapered fork nose and blunt ends to allowfor repositioning of pallets and enhancedpallet entry. The design is ideally suited forpinwheeling applications, allowing the customerto put up to 10% more pallets on each truckand reducing per pallet transportation costs.When the handle is in the upper brakezone, the operator can press and holdthe creep speed button to maneuver thetruck. The linkage rod is comprised of a uniform square bar with weldedends for maximum strength and low maintenance. Bushings are the thickest bronze bushings available and provide the most contactarea, resulting in improved distribution of force and increased service life. The“X” groove allows for full spread of lubrication throughout bushing, minimizing wear. Steel drive frame enhances stability and durability,decreasing service costs and damage to loads. For applications where even more stability is needed,optional casters have been reinforced with heavyduty casting. Coil springs have been replaced withpoly block which is more durable and resistant tocorrosion, reducing cost and service requirements. Large, maintenance-free turntable steer bearingsdistribute and handle driving and steering forces betterthan small taper bearings, lowering cost of ownership. AC traction motor is maintenance-free and external speedsensor is easy to access, reducing cost of maintenance.Brushless AC technologyThe MPB-VG incorporates an AC technologytraction system, which means no brushes toservice and no wear items.
