We will be happy to provide detailed pricing toyou after a consultation call.FLORAL & DÉCORWe will custom tailor your wedding event to your color scheme,theme and tastes. We will be happy to make arrangements for yourfloral displays with our preferred florists. We have an array ofceremony settings and décor for you to select from, or we can obtainlinens and tabletop décor for your specific request. If you prefer tosend your own décor for the event, you must review the best shippingmethods in advance of shipping items to Caerula Mar Club. Handlingfees will apply.PHOTOGRAPHY AND VIDEOGRAPHYCapture your memories from start to finish of your wedding day withone of our preferred photographers. Access may be restricted forgroup photos to your room, the beach and ceremony area and dinnersetting if the entire resort is not reserved.Add on Trash the Dress or some romantic honeymoon photos.Custom designed ceremony settings, tent rentals, PA systems andlighting packages are all available.We will be happy to provide detailed pricing after a consultation call.10

PAMPERING/GETTING READYTreat yourself and your bridal party from headto toe with massages, manicures and pedicuresat our SPA or in your villa.You may choose to have your hair and makeupdone in the privacy of your villa or utilize ourSpa for your bridal party to get ready for yourbig day. Hair and makeup services are notavailable on the island but can be arranged foryou. Pricing depends on the number of peopleand services you wish to have. We encourageyou to send us photos and to bring any hairaccessories, foundation and makeup to be sureyou have the exact products that are best foryour skin and skin tone.Choose to get ready for your wedding in theprivacy of your own suite or villa or at the CMCoceanfront spa. Reserve the spa for 8consecutive hours for 500 or 150/hour inaddition to the hair and makeup stylist fees.11

LOGISTICS & LEGALITIESWe’ll be there every step of the way! We will send you theapplication form in advance so that you can see therequired information. It is very helpful for us to have theinformation on the form prior to your arrival so that we canget the paperwork started. We’ll schedule the meeting andwill accompany you to the Administration Complex onSouth Andros to make the application. Your wedding dayand officiant will be booked in advance. Same-sex marriagein the Bahamas is not yet legally recognized. Caerula Marperforms same-sex non-legal ceremonies.ARRIVAL AND PROOF OF RESIDENCYThe bride and groom must be in the Bahamas for 24 hoursbefore applying for their marriage license and are requiredto show proof of arrival date. The Bahamas immigrationcard or entry stamp in your passport will suffice.MARRIAGE LICENSEAfter the 24-hour period of residency in the Bahamas wewill accompany you to the local Administrator’s office inSouth Andros. Offices are only open Monday-Friday andhours are limited. We will make the necessaryappointments.CEREMONY & MARRIAGE CERTIFICATEYour wedding ceremony can take place once the marriagelicense is approved. Your marriage certificate is obtained atthe wedding ceremony.13

APOSTILLEMany countries now require that official documents, such as international marriage certificates, be certified by the issuing country. In TheCommonwealth of The Bahamas, this means that an Apostille (a special seal) is applied by the relevant authority to certify that a documentis a true copy of an original. We have included the Apostille in your base wedding package and this will be available to ship toyou approximately 30 days from the request; each additional certificate will cost 150. Shipping is additional.REQUIRED DOCUMENTSThe following original documents are required: Passport with entry stamp of arrival date in the Bahamas Divorce decree (if applicable) Death certificate of former SPOUSE (if applicable) Proof if your name has been changed Sworn declaration if you are single and have never been married Written parental consent if under 18 years of age.14

NOTES ABOUT GETTING MARRIED IN THE BAHAMAS You must be present in the Bahamas for 24 hours beforemaking your marriage application. It is advisable to arrive 48hours before your ceremony date. Applications are receivedduring business hours, Monday to Friday 9:30am to 4:00pm. You must have your passports along with the immigrationform that is given at the time of entry into The Bahamas. Applications can only be made Monday to Friday duringbusiness hours Two witnesses, who are at least 18 years old, must sign yourmarriage license. If it's just the two of you, witnesses can beprovided. The marriage license is valid for up to 90 days in case youwould like to apply during an earlier trip and perhapscombine with an on-site planning trip. If you are single and have never been married before, youwill need a declaration certifying this fact. This can be swornbefore a notary public or another person authorized toadminister oaths in your country of residence. You will needthis document when you apply for a marriage license. If youprefer, you can also make this declaration in The Bahamaswith an attorney-at-law or notary public. This can becompleted on South Andros but we will need to know inadvance. If either of you have been previously married, you will needthe original decree of divorce or a certified copy with raisedor colored seal. If in a language other than English, theoriginal decree or certified copy must be provided in thenative language along with a translated certified or notarizedcopy in English. If either party is widowed, the death certificate of thedeceased spouse is required. If you are a minor under 18 years of age, you must havewritten parental consent to be married in The Bahamas.Please ask us for a consent form which we’ll obtain from theGovernment.15

WEDDING EVENT TERMS AND CONDITIONSFor an entire resort rental a deposit of 50% of the accommodation fee is required at the time of booking. The balance is due 60 days priorto your arrival date.Required deposits for various optional services will be detailed for you as you move through the planning process.CANCELLATIONFor an entire resort rentals or group bookings, the deposit is non-refundable. Written cancellation is required 60 days in advance of yourarrival date. Cancellations within 60 days of arrival date will not receive a refund. Any monies paid to third party providers will be dealtwith according to their cancellation policies. We accept no credit risk, deposit risk or cancellation risk for any prior or subsequent claimsmade by any third party providers.The cancellation charges outlined above are liquidated damages as a genuine pre-estimate of damages, and not a penalty. No refunds oradjustments will be made for any portion of a guest’s stay not utilized.LIABILITYClient is responsible for their personal safety and the personal safety of any guest at their event on property.In the case of emergency/injury that may require medical attention while on property, staff will call and request medical help on behalf ofthe client.Management shall not be responsible for the safekeeping, loss, theft or damage of any of the client’s belongings.If the client or their guest damages or breaks any facility, equipment or hotel property, the client is liable for the entire cost of necessaryrepairs or replacements. Such costs shall be assessed by management and their decision is final and conclusive.All music and entertainment at all events/parties must be silenced by 10pm unless written agreement from management is received. Ifbooking an event to last past 10pm the full resort must be reserved by your party.Bookings for events that are not full resort bookings are limited to certain areas of the resort and must not disrupt other guests.CMC reserves the right to remove any guest/visitor at the discretion of management and any liability arising from a disturbance will falldirectly to the client.16
