Installing VMtrialTask - Install VMtrial on Hyper-V using SCVMM2The virtual hard disks required for the installation of your Email Gateway (VMtrial) are imported to theSCVMM library.Task - Import the virtual machine templateA template is provided within the installation package to simplify the process of creating virtualmachines on which to run the Email Gateway (VMtrial).Task1Start the Microsoft System Center Virtual Machine Manager.2Navigate to Library and your relevant Library Server.3From the top toolbar, click Import Template.4Browse to the extracted McAfee-MEG- version.number - build.number .HyperV Trial.zippackage files, and select the template (HyperV Trial.xml) file.5Click Open.6Click Next. Optionally, enter a descriptive name for the template.7Click Next.8Click Import.The template is imported to Microsoft System Center Virtual Machine Manager, and appears withinTemplates VM Templates .Task - Create a virtual machineBefore you can install a Email Gateway (VMtrial), you must create a virtual machine on your Hyper-Vsystem.Task1Start the Microsoft System Center Virtual Machine Manager.2Navigate to VMs and Services and select VMs from the top toolbar.3Choose the Hyper-V host onto which you want to deploy the Email Gateway (VMtrial).4Right-click the selected host and select Create Virtual Machine.5Select Use an existing virtual machine, VM template, or virtual hard disk, browse to locate the virtual machinetemplate you installed, and click OK6Click Next.7Type a name for the virtual machine. Optionally, provide a description for this virtual machine.8Click Next.
