MMHS ORCHESTRA RECEIVE SUPERIOR RATINGS AT STATEMMHS Chamber Orchestra performed at State Orchestra Festival this past Saturday, and wereceived two I-'s, and one straight I! For those who are unfamiliar with the scoring, a I (Superior) is thehighest rating we can get. The students have all worked really hard, and I'm so proud of ourperformance! If you see any of them (even Seniors), please congratulate them on thisaccomplishment! :) Thank you all for your support! Last Week of School, here we come!100% ATTENDANCEWe would like to congratulate Camden Henry (10th grade) who received 100% Perfect Attendance forthis school year! Way to go Camden! This is a huge achievement to not have any attendance marksfor the entire school year! The Concurrent Enrollment Student Art Show will be held May 13 – June 3,2022. Any MMHS student who has taken, or is taking, a Concurrent Enrollment course is eligible toparticipate. Art entries are Due by April 25, 2022 Acceptable entries include all two-dimensional media (photography, drawing, pain ng, mixed media,graphic arts, and digital media). Each student may submit up to three (3) entries. Each student may submit oneentry per medium. Ar st and artwork selected to par cipate in the juried show will be no ed by April 29, 2022. LOST AND FOUND ITEMSWe have lost and found items in totes by the copy center. These items will be donated to a localcharity if not claimed by Friday, June 3rd, so please stop by if you have misplaced clothing items,shoes, water bottles, etc. Our band teacher has also included lost and found items from theband area. Wallets and electronic devices are kept in the main office until claimed. Thank you!Attendance Recovery InfoParents, please urge your children to remain under 10 hours of missed class time, as the school yearis coming to an end. Students may do attendance recovery in the library computer lab during lunchevery day and after school on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Students can do attendance recoverywith their teachers after school any day. If the attendance recovery lab is closed please see a teacherto get credit for the day.Important Attendance Information: When checking out your student, please call ahead (or send a note with your student), tospeed up the check-out process. DO NOT leave a message or send an email for immediatecheck-out. If you cannot get through on our attendance line, please call the main office andsomeone will assist you (801-794-6740). HOWEVER, if you need to purchase amattress earlier than this date, you can participate in ANY of the following events, and WE canstill get the credit! :)
