To change the chart properties, follow the process below:1. Right-click on the chart. Select Properties2. Click the Colors tab. You can change the colors for the background, foreground,candles, and so on.You can choose your desired chart type by selecting either Line Chart, Bar Chart or Candlestick Chart.The chart x-axis is for different time periods (minutes, hours, days, months etc.), and the yaxis is for a price.Line ChartThe price on the chart shows the close pricefor the period, i.e. the bid of the last quotefor this period. Right-click on the chart and Click Templates.1. Fill in Template name. Right-click on the chart. Select Trading.2. Click New OrderFIGURE 14Option 2:1. Right-click on the financial instrument in the market watch.2. Select Trading. Click New OrderOption 3:Click F9 on your keyboard. This will open an ‘Order-ticket’ for the financial instrument of themain chart. If you have multiple charts open, the last chart opened or used is consideredyour main chart.Option 4:ALT-T on your keyboard. This shortcut will also open an ‘Order ticker for the financial instrument of the main chart. MetaTrade 4 User GuideThe ‘Order Ticket’The order ticket allows the user to place a trade on the MetaTrader 4 platform on all financial instruments offered by Blueberry Markets.FIGURE 15Before you enter the market you can change details in “Order” window: Symbol - from the drop-down list at the top (this will automatically be set to thesymbol on the active chart) A corresponding tick chart appears in the left pane. Double clicking on the order will also have the same result.FIGURE 16The ‘Order #’ will appear in the yellow box underneath the Buy and Sell buttons which signifies the trade you wish to close, allowing you to double-check the ‘Order #’. Click the yellowbox to close the order.Partially closing a tradeIf you wish to partially close a trade, you can specify the volume you wish to close and thenpress Close.Place/Modify/delete Stop Loss & Take Profit OrdersStop Loss – an order to close a position at a level that is lower than your entry price or lowerthan the current market price if your order is in profit.Take Profit – an order to close a position that is moving in the direction of your order.These orders allow for you to ‘set and forget’ if you wish to do so, giving the trader the ability to manage risk without having to sit at their trade terminal.12www.blueberrymarkets.comSEE TABLE OF CONTENTS
MetaTrade 4 User GuideTo add/modify ‘Stop Loss or Take Profit target:1. Find the trade that you want to modify in the ‘Trade’ tab. Right click, then selectModify or Delete Order2. Fill in the Stop Loss and Take Profit fields with the distance points from the currentmarket price or enter the amount you want, and then click the ‘Modify’ button.3. Wait for the dialogue box confirming your trade adjustments.FIGURE 17Types of ordersMarket ExecutionMarket Execution is to place a trade at market, with a request being sent to fill the order atthe next available price.Pending OrderA pending order is opening a trade when the market reaches or exceeds a trigger price.The 4 types of pending orders are as follows: Buy Stop – Above Market Price i.e. You set the stop above the market so when themarket hits the point you open or close the contracts on price strength. 13Sell Stop – Below Market Price i.e. You set the stop below the market so when thewww.blueberrymarkets.comSEE TABLE OF CONTENTS

Sell Limit – Above Market Price i.e. You set the price above the market price youwish to take profit or open a short position at a more favourable price than the current market price. Buy Limit – Below Market Price i.e. You set the price below the market as you wishto take profit or open a long position at a more favourable price than the currentmarket price.Buy or sell via pending order1. Click the ‘New Order’ button then select the currency pair that you want to tradefrom the dropdown list.2. From the ‘Order Type’ drop-down list, choose ‘Pending Order.’3. Choose whether to Buy or Sell from the ‘Order Type’ dropdown list.4. From the Order Type dropdown list, pick one: Buy Limit – long selling at below market price Sell Limit – short selling at above market price Buy Stop – long selling at above market price Sell Stop – short selling at below market priceOnce the Order Type is selected, indicate the price at which you want to enter themarket.5. Input your desired position size from the Volume dropdown list.6. If you already know your exit value, fill in the ‘Stop Loss’ and ‘Take Profit’ fields.7. Set the expiry date on your order.8.
