If you are seeking agrade point average of less than 2.0 (on a 4.0 scale) atanother college or university and/or were academicallydismissed from another college or university (regardlessof your cumulative grade point average).G You are a foreign-educated student who meets proofof English proficiency and are otherwise eligible foradmission, but have not completed at least 24 credits oftransferable college coursework from a U.S. college oruniversity.As a provisional student, you may enroll for a maximumof 7 credits per term (fall: August-December; spring:January-May; summer: June-July).If you fit in the first category, you must submit transcriptsfrom all colleges and universities you have attended withinyour first term of enrollment at UMUC. Your status isautomatically changed to regular after you have successfullycompleted 7 credits of graded coursework with a cumulativecertificate or degree with a consortium institution,you can enroll in a limited number of courses with otherconsortium institutions without paying an additionalapplication fee.
