XCIII- 858/16/18BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF MIDDLESEX COUNTY COLLEGEMinutes of the Meeting of August 16, 2018The rescheduled regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of Middlesex County College was held at 9:44 a.m. in College Center, TheCorral, located on the College campus. Members present were: Mmes. Buteas and Palumbo, and Messrs. Anderson, Daley, Finkelstein,Giannini, Oras, Raja, Sica, and Taffet. Mrs. Power was absent. Also present were Interim President McCormick, Mr. Hoffman, Ms.D’Aloisio and several staff members.In compliance with the "Open Public Meetings Act" of the State of New Jersey, adequate notice of this meeting was provided asfollows:(a)On July 12, 2018 and August 2, 2018, advance written notice of this meeting was posted in the lobby of Chambers Hall.(b)On July 12, 2018 and August 2, 2018 advance written notice of this meeting was e-mailed to the Home News Tribune and TheStar Ledger.(c)On July 12, 2018 and August 2, 2018, a copy of this advance notice of the meeting was filed with the Clerk of the MiddlesexCounty Board of Chosen Freeholders.(d)On July 12, 2018 and August 2, 2018, a copy of this advance notice was filed with the President of Middlesex County College.(e)Any individual who has requested notice of this meeting has been forwarded a copy of the notice of such meeting.Vice Chairman Finkelstein led the Pledge of Allegiance.Vice Chairman Finkelstein introduced the new Interim President Mark McCormick, new Acting Vice President for Academic andStudent Affairs Jeffrey Herron, new Vice President for Institutional Advancement Michelle Campbell, and the 2018-2019 Graduating StudentRepresentative Pierfrancesco Giannini.MINUTESMr. Raja moved, seconded by Mr. Sica, that the minutes of the rescheduled regular meeting for June 13, 2018 be adopted as presented.The motion was approved.
