SafetyAlways observe the following precautions to reduce the risk of injury and equipment damage: The Nextiva S1800e series devices are for indoor use only. Do not connect the Nextiva S1800e series devices to any cabling (BNC, PoE or otherwise)that runs outdoor. The Nextiva S1800e series devices should be placed on a secure flat surface or mountedusing optional hardware. The Nextiva S1800e series devices should only be operated in a clean, dry environment. For the multiport encoders, the operating temperature is 32ºF to 131ºF (0ºC to 55ºC), withmaximum humidity at 95% non-condensing. For single and dual port devices except the S1801e-POE, the the operating temperature is32ºF to 140ºF (0ºC to 60ºC), with maximum humidity at 95% non-condensing. For the single port S1801e-POE, the operating temperature is 32ºF to 131ºF (0ºC to 55ºC),with maximum humidity at 95% non-condensing. Only use the recommend power cable for powering the Nextiva S1800e series devices.
