A six-foot fence will be built aroundthe property. He stated that there would be 10,750panels (295 watts each) installed at the location, similarto the farm in Butler, MO. The farm will cover around12 acres. Mr. Williamson stated that the constructionperiod takes between 90 and 120 days. Localsubcontractors will be used during the constructionperiod.According to Mr. Williamson, 32% of new generatingelectricity is due to solar power, beating out windgeneration as well as coal. Natural gas is the onlyelement exceeding solar in energy generation.MC Power will be running the farm 100%, so thisdoesn’t create new jobs for Trenton. For thoseinterested in following the energy production of thefarm, you can contact Mr. Williamson once the site isbuilt and complete. He will give you the website to goto. The panels themselves are built to withstand weatherup to golf ball sized hail. The inverters used have a lifeexpectancy of 12 to 15 years.ClarkPlumbing & HeatingResidential & Commercial*New Construction,Remodel & Repair*Water Heaters & Boilers*Sewers & Drain Cleaning*Video Inspection - Backhoe Svc.**Certified**660-359-20073
