TITLE V INDICATOR TEMPLATE INDICATOR: Percent of Total Live Births by Adequacy of Prenatal Care Utilization (APNCU) Index DEFINITION: The percent of live born infants whose mothers received adequate prenatal care as defined by the Adequacy of Prenatal Care Utilization Index (APNCU) developed by Milton Kotelchuck. This index does not assess the quality of the prenatal care that is delivered.
