Search GM-RSE in the Apple App StoreSM or Google Play .TO USE THE APP:Once downloaded, choose this icon on the smartphone or tablet :The app’s home screen provides three options:1. REMOTE CONTROLCustomers can choose the standard remote control configuration or touchpadconfiguration, choose a monitor, then use the on/off, navigation controls and menuoptions to operate the RSI system. This makes it easy for a parent in the front seat toassist small children or control content being viewed.2. SMARTSTREAMSMARTSTREAMMULTICASTCustomers can choose a monitor, a connected device and content to stream wirelessly tothe RSI system.3. MULTICASTThis option enables a passenger in the vehicle to access content being played on the RSIsystem from a mobile device. The passenger can simply choose the monitor they wish toview on their device. Note: MultiCast will not allow a device to play content that is DigitalRights Managed (DRM-protected).4

CHEVROLET ACCESSORIES REAR SEAT INFOTAINMENT SYSTEM GM DEALER USE ONLYNAVIGATE THE CONTROL MENUPassengers can access all of the RSI functions by highlighting their choice of the four menu sections: Settings, Source, Mirror and Fast-Charge. Pressing the HOME button will alwaysreturn the viewer to the home screen, where these four options are found. In any menu, press the UP and DOWN arrows to scroll through the selections, and then press SELECT () or theFORWARD arrow to choose an option. SETTINGS Wi-Fi — Choose a Wi-Fi source(if applicable) Read Back — Audible prompts forvisually impaired users Display — Adjust contrast, sharpness orbrightness A udio — Choose an audio source —wireless headphones, wired headphonesor Bluetooth 1 A dvanced — Install updates, reset to thefactory default settings or choosea languageSettings menuImage property of VOXX Automotive SOURCE C ustomize — Choose a custombackground image for the main menuscreen on the monitor — each monitorcan have its own image Parental — Set a password for users toaccess content and limit playback ofmedia based on rating levels withoutthe password Bluetooth — Enable or disable Bluetooth.(Bluetooth is intended for pairing to thevehicle’s audio system) DVD Player (if equipped) — Plays DVDmovies and audio CDs SD Card — Play videos, music and imagesstored on an SD card H DMI — Play content from an externalsource (such as gaming systems, videocameras, etc.) connected to the HDMIport. Sources like smart TV sticks canalso be used (this requires an Internetconnection via an OnStar 4G LTE2 dataplan or other hotspot device) S lingPlayer — Users with a Slingbox athome can stream their live home cableor satellite TV, as well as their DVR andOnDemand content. To stop mirroring,hit the BACK or HOME buttonFAST-CHARGE USB Fast-Charge allows charging of certain USB devices faster than normal To enable, select “Fast-Charge” from the home screen The USB icon will display a green lightning bolt when active Fast-Charge disables the USB port from reading data or content from USB devices, andwhen USB is selected as a source, the Fast-Charge feature will be automatically disabledTIPS If two backseat passengers want to play the same game on their gaming system, theyshould choose HDMI as the source, then return to the menu and select “Mirror” to showthe game simultaneously on both screens If you want to put content on a USB or SD card, the RSI system will automatically sortthe content into the appropriate folders (music, pictures and video). The RSI system willsupport up to 1 TB of content on an SD card or USB If the passenger viewing Monitor A is watching a movie via an SD card or connecteddevice, and the passenger viewing Monitor B wants to watch the same movie, noproblem — the RSI system has options:--The passenger at Monitor B can choose “Mirror” to start watching the same movie fromthe same point, or--The passenger at Monitor B can access that same movie from their own monitor tostart it from the beginning or at any other pointNote: If the source is HDMI or the DVD player, Monitor B can only view it by “mirroring”Monitor A If you have a passenger in the third row who wants to access the RSI system from amobile device, choose “MultiCast” from the installed GM-RSE app. Please note thatMultiCast will not display DRM-protected content6

Be sure the headphonesare correctly oriented (right and left)and nothing is in between them and themonitor. Press the power button on theheadphone set, then choose “ChannelA” to listen to Monitor A or “Channel B”to listen to Monitor B Wired headphones — Each monitor alsohas a 3.5mm stereo headphone jackfor most standard headphones. Wiredheadphones are not included withthe systemADJUSTING VOLUME Bluetooth Streaming Audio — Go tothe Settings menu to enable audio viaBluetooth throughout the vehicle, orpress the CONTEXT button ( ) on theremote control during playback Using the remote control: use the UPor DOWN arrows Using the mobile app: use the UP orDOWN arrows Using the RSI monitor touchscreen:Choose SELECT ( ), then “PlaybackControls,” then the VOLUME icon 7

The RSI system will continue playing the same source and video, as long as it’sstill connected.Yes. If the monitor is in use for a sustained period of time, the surface willfeel warm.IF MY PHONE IS CONNECTED TO THE VEHICLE’S NETWORK,CAN ANYONE VIEW THE CONTENT ON MY PHONE?IS A SEPARATE DATA PLAN REQUIRED?Only if you grant permission. If the RSI system is trying to access your phone,a message will appear on your phone. You can choose “Allow” or “Deny.”CAN PASSENGERS MULTICAST USING THE REMOTE CONTROLOR THE TOUCHSCREEN CONTROLS?No. MultiCasting can only be done using the GM-RSE mobile app.HOW MANY DEVICES CAN THE RSI SYSTEM MULTICAST TO?The system can MultiCast to three devices without affecting performance. It is possibleto MultiCast to up to 20 devices; however, the more devices that connect, the more likelybuffering will occur.CAN THE RSI SYSTEM MULTICAST CONTENT FROM EITHERMONITOR TO A PASSENGER’S MOBILE DEVICE?Yes, MultiCast enables a passenger to choose content from either Monitor A or B;however, it will not show content that is DRM-protected.Most features do not require a data plan; however, using SlingPlayer does require accessto the Internet and WiFi hotspot, which will require an active data plan (e.g., OnStar 4GLTE or another hotspot device).DO ALL DEVICES NEED TO BE ON THE SAME NETWORK?Yes. In order for a device to use the RSI system, it must be connected to the same WiFi network. In most cases, this will be the vehicle’s Wi-Fi network — this is the defaultsetting. However, the RSI system can also create its own Wi-Fi network independent ofthe vehicle’s Wi-Fi network.
