For deviceslike gates, this will providestatus on the open state ofthe gate.For devices with a sensorassociated with them; like acamera with a motion sensor;there is a slider to defineautomatic or manualoperation:Automatic (default)Device will operate when thesensor associated with it istriggered for operation.ManualDevice will operate only whena user manually triggers thedevice.This guide provided by CellGate, is intended as a reference guide for the gate access portal interface. Complete the contactinformation6. In Contact How? selectVoice2. Enter the text for theVoice call Prompt3. Enter up to 6 numbersfor the system to call4. Enter a unique code topush on handset keypad toallow entrySection 7: ActionsEditAllows you to Edit thedevice name anddescription lines for thedevice. (Shown to the right)1. Enter Device Name2. Enter Descriptive Text3. Technical Support – 972-231-1999 option 2Section 8: LogsLogs can be opened in anumber of ways1. From the Navigation Bar,click Logs icon. This opensthe Activity Log containingall Activities Logs for thesystem.2. From the Area Bar, clickthe Log icon. The Logs pagewill open with the InstallLocation filter set to theArea and the Activity Logsonly displaying events forthe devices in the Area3. From the device action,click on the Logs icon. TheLogs page will open filteredto the Area and Device.Logs can be filtered byArea, Device / Port, AccessCode, Date Range, Users,System Response andResponse Types.Logs can be exported to anExcel spreadsheet saved tothe default downloadlocation for your browser.This guide provided by CellGate, is intended as a reference guide for the gate access portal interface. There are threetypes of schedules: WeeklyRecurring, Set Dates,Blackouts.Weekly RecurringSchedules can be set torecur every week.1. Select Type (Hold Openor Momentary Open)2. Set Start Day and Time3. Set End Day and Time4. SaveOne-Time EventThese are single events forthe device as defined by theuser.1. Select Type (Hold open orMomentary Open)2. Enter a Title3. Set Start Date and Time4. Enter User Name, theUser e-mail address, andTimezone.3. See Section 11 and 12 fordefining User Accessmethods.4. See Section 13 for whatareas the user should beable to access.5. Technical Support – 972-231-1999 option 2Section 11: AccessMethodsGate Code – Assign a code upto 5 digits to the user for entryat a gate keypad.You also have the option ofsaving the code to the localdevice.RFID / Card / Clicker – Foreach you will assign:Type of Device – Select theproper type of device.Code – This is a uniqueidentifier for the access deviceto allow for identification ofthe device for the user.Wiegand Code – This is thehexadecimal code transmittedfrom the device to identifyand allow access.You can save this informationto the local device.Dial a Phone Number – Thesystem will dial the assignedphone number.Phone Number – enter thenumber to dial when gatebutton is pushed.Access Code – The code theperson called will enter in thephone to activate the gate.Actuation Mode – when holdopen is selected, the user getsthe option for momentaryopen or hold open whenentering the access code.This guide provided by CellGate, is intended as a reference guide for the gate access portal interface. Technical Support – 972-231-1999 option 2Section 12: Web andMobile Access AssignmentsProvide user access to theweb portal and mobileapplications.Mobile App Only – whenselected “Yes” user can onlyaccess the system on themobile app.Web/Smartphone LoginExpiration – “Yes” will displayadditional lines to assign adate and time for user accessto expire for the web portal.Email / Password – Enter theemail address and passwordfor the user. The emailaddress is used as theusername for the system.Read Only – Can only look atdisplayed information whenon “Yes”User permissions for UserControl, Device Control, BillingControls can be assigned asHidden, Read Only or Admin.Can Actuate provides whattype of gate opening the usercan perform on a device.This guide provided by CellGate, is intended as a reference guide for the gate access portal interface. Technical Support – 972-231-1999 option 2Section 13: Access AreasThere are two ways to definewhat specific areas a user willhave access to.At the top of the page is aglobal. If “Yes” is selected, theuser get access to all areasand the bottom part of thescreen disappears.The second way to assign areato a user is to assign based ona list of areas defined for theaccount. This listing is at thebottom of the page as shown.Section 14: UserRestrictionsThe default settings of thesystem allows access 24/7.By selecting “Specific” inany given area, you canassign a time and daterange for access to thesystem or a set number ofaccesses as provided.This guide provided by CellGate, is intended as a reference guide for the gate access portal interface. In the Add ContactWindow, fill out the formwith the appropriateinformation for the contact3. Technical Support – 972-231-1999 option 2Section 18: SchedulingTemplates (Advanced)A scheduling template is a wayto create schedules and thenapply those schedules todevices from a centralizedlocation.Setting schedules is similar tothe process described insection 9Activity Type:Hold Open DeviceHold a device in an open statefor the time period scheduled.Momentary Open DeviceThis will trigger the devicemomentarily.Ignore SensorThe schedule for ignoring theoutput from a sensor.Add ScheduleBy clicking the Add button thesystem will prompt for aunique name of the schedule.Saving will create anotherentry under the appropriatetype.Edit ScheduleSee section 9Apply to DeviceClicking the appropriatebutton, displays a dialog boxof valid devices capable ofoperating the assignedscheduled.
