ACADEMIC SCHOLARSHIP Year 5 girls submit an application for the Academic Scholarship with an Enrolment Application.Year 5 girls sit the Academic Scholarship exam in May.The successful candidate will have achieved the strongest score in the numeracy and/orliteracy components of the exam.All candidates will receive notification of the outcome in June.SPORT SCHOLARSHIP Year 5 girls submit an application for the Sport Scholarship with an Enrolment Application.The strongest applications that meet the criteria are shortlisted.The shortlisted candidates are interviewed in the following year when in Year 6. At thisinterview, the girls can share their further success since the application was lodged.Girls who miss the closing date for Sport Scholarship may submit an application which will beincluded in the second round. Girls in the second round will only be eligible if there was not asuccessful candidate found in the first round.Criteria for the Sport Scholarship includes: Recognised success at State or higher in at least one sport or athletic event. Representative achievement in at least one sport/athletic event. Participation and success in sport/athletic events offered at St Patrick’s College. Ongoing interest and desire to excel in the sport/athletic areas of strength.All candidates will receive notification of the outcome in June.PERFORMING ARTS SCHOLARSHIP Year 5 girls submit an application for the Performing Arts Scholarship with an EnrolmentApplication.Candidates are invited to an audition the following year in May (one performance piece ofrepertoire or dance only). Immediately after the audition, girls are interviewed about theircurrent experience in their performance area.Criteria for the Performing Arts Scholarship includes: Recognised success and substantial level of achievement within the chosenperformance area. Serious commitment to participation in performance opportunities offered at StPatrick’s College.
