He is presidentof the South East Ministers Association.He has served as a hospitalchaplain, prison chaplain, and policechaplain.He has worked with school districts, pre-college programs, andgang awareness groups. He was appointed by Governor Jennifer Granholm(2006) as a Commissioner for the Michigan Commission for DisabilityConcerns and is an advocate for health ministries and health awareness inthe African American community.Rev. Lang holds a B.A. Communications from Olivet College,M.A. Adult and Continuing Education, Ph.D. Candidate, Agricultural andExtension Education from Michigan State University.
