Introduction of Railway EngineeringRAILWAY MODEL ROOMŸMITCORER has a well-equipped model room displaying varioustypes of train operating and signaling systems used in IndianRailways.ŸHere replica of three types of train and Pandharpur RailwayStation are created. Railway modelling uses a variety of scales(ratio between the real world and the model) to ensure scalemodels look correct when placed next to each other.ŸThe scale models include locomotives, rolling stock, tracks,signaling and landscapes including: countryside, roads, bridges,buildings, vehicles, urban landscape, model figures, lights, andfeatures such as rivers, hills, etc.ŸIn this model room, various technical information such as RailwayTrack, Rail Signal System, Rail Bridges, Flyovers, Railway Crossingand Railway Automatic Gate System is available to the students.From this students are able to understand various manufacturingprocesses, mechanisms and Railway Standards used in Railways.ŸAlso, our students are involved in creation of informative Posterson Railways and railway models.
