Demonstrates success working with cross-functional teams, at multisite locations, while building and maintaining strong, effectiverelationships. Functional experiences and skills in administering not-for-profitorganizations. Communicates effectively in oral and written form, with goodinterpersonal skills. JOB DESCRIPTIONPUBLISHER, AA GRAPEVINE, INC.OverviewThe Publisher serves as the chief administrative officer and president of AA Grapevine,Inc. (AAGV). The Publisher reports directly to the AA Grapevine Board of Directors andis responsible for operating the corporation in accordance with the strategic plan, policies,directives, and programs approved by the Grapevine Board of Directors. The Publisheralso serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the corporation which includes managingboth financial and human resources. The Publisher is the primary liaison with the GeneralService Board (GSB) and the AAGV Board. The Vision and Mission statements of theAAGV Board, and the 12 Steps, 12 Traditions and 12 Concepts of Alcoholics Anonymous,summarize the standards to which the Publisher is committed.Operations – The Publisher, under the direction of the Grapevine Board of Directors: Implements programs and oversees the operations and staff according to thepolicies and procedures, strategic plan and budget approved by the AAGV Boardof Directors in accordance with local, state and federal laws and regulations;Ensures the timely production of all publications and maintains the highstandards that the Fellowship expects from AAGV publications;Safeguards that all funds, physical assets, historical artifacts and other propertyof the corporation are maintained and administered in accordance with soundbusiness and financial principles and practices;Oversees the editorial policy for the AAGV and La Viña magazines, and otherproducts, following AAGV Board approvals; andDevelops, implements, and measures digital content strategy and marketing,including but not limited to editing and publishing on a variety of digital platforms,such as websites, videos, podcasts, other emerging social media outlets, etc.Strategic Planning Participates with the AAGV Board on long-term strategic planning, businessplanning and budget development.Budgeting & Financial Reporting Develops and manages budgets for the Grapevine and La Viña, in consultationwith the Board Treasurer and the AAGV Board’s Finance Committee;
