1 Initial Greetings1.1 President of the European Karate FederationThe Karate family is looking forward to the event in which Europe’s future stars of the sporttake the stage to show the showmanship and the impact of our modality in young ages. Weall are very pleased to visit Sochi for the 45th European Junior & Cadet and 10th U21Championships and we are confident that the anticipated tournament is set to be aresounding success.I want to take the opportunity to express my gratitude to the Russian Karate Federation andits President Serguey Tsoy for their hard work and courage to host one of the most relevantevents of the year in European Karate. 7.5 Venue: Iceberg PalaceVenue location:Olympic Park, Adler, Krasnodarskii district, 354354The Iceberg Palace is a 12,000-seat multi-purpose arena at Sochi Olympic Park in Sochi,Russia. The "Iceberg" was built in 2012 in Sochi, in the coastal cluster of the Imereti lowland.The building area is about 68 000 m2, the arena of Iceberg Palace is 60x30m2.The venue hosted the figure skating and short track speed skating events at the 2014 WinterOlympics.17
The Iceberg Palace is a multi-functional arena with a well-developed infrastructure andprofessional equipment to create of favourable climate.
