Therewas a lot of information disseminated, which I will pass on at the firstmeeting in August. One of the mainpoints was the use of Social Media(Facebook). Grand Lodge wants us touse it but carefully. It must be for members ofthe order only and no negativity. In addition, there were 12 resolutions passed which haveno real affect on our Lodge.July also saw the Homecoming of PhilDaighton, District AVP. It was a wonderfulevent at the Solvang Veterans Hall, with greatdecorations, outstanding food and a good bandenjoyed by the 145 guests. Thank you to allwho helped make it happen. There were several catering events in Julywith more to come in the next few months. Ifyou have some time to help out, please let meor any officer know. We can always use anextra hand.I am looking for a new PublicRelations chairman. If you have agood camera and are able to takepictures at any of our events, wewant to talk to you. Have a flair forwriting? Recaps of events can besubmitted to the CHEA and NationalMagazines for publication. Take goodpictures AND like to write? Thatwould be a bonus! We are still doing Trivia Tuesday onthe second Tuesday of the month soplease come down and have some fun.
