While we made two donationstotaling 150,000 to the American Red Cross Disaster ReliefFund—and employees added 76,000 more—we were mostproud of the way we rallied people and resources to protectand recover our facilities in Panama City Beach and supportour colleagues who work there. Our response following those storms—indeed, the way weachieved every accomplishment in 2018—is a testament toHII’s “Hard Stuff Done Right” trademark and, above all, ourcommitment to creating value for all of our stakeholders, including the communities where we do business.I hope this “Report to the Community” demonstrates thebreadth and depth of HII’s charitable efforts in 2018.
